Now onto the show -
Euphoria follows main character Rue on her journey with drug addiction, along with exploring the lives of her peers and showing us an almost realistic take on high school and teenagers.
We explore the topics of toxic relationships, body positivity, peer pressure, etc. It contains more than a few graphic sexual scenes so be warned, and it's a little dark.
The cinematography, writing and character development is phenomenal and the soundtrack is bomb. AND, the uhm.. central romance (I don't wanna call it that) involves a trans woman and a lesbian :) And the trans girl is actually played by a trans actress/model and that's enough of a reason for me to give this show a chance. But it is a badass show regardless of their diverse casts and characters. Plus, we have Emelai from Everything Sucks!
