And the present texts are like this: Hello
Thinking back on it now, at that moment the only thing that was going through my mind was.
Is there something wrong with my smile.
"So I decided to answer with-"
"Mama!" Haru said interrupting my story. Suddenly all the attention was on Haru.
He had grabbed his mum's shirt and was pulling it with an expression of discomfort, he was squirming in his seat.
"Yes?" Katsuki answered directing his attention from the parfait to Haru.
Haru didn't answer but continued to squirm. Tugging at his mum's shirt.
"Baby are you okay," Katsuki said his lazy expression turning into a worried one as he checked Haru's body.I was also getting a bit worried at Haru's weird behaviour. After a few more seconds of coaxing, Haru finally answered.
"Need to go, need to go, go," He said still squirming in his seat. Both I and Katsuki let out a sigh of relief after we realised what he meant.
"Let's go," Katsuki said as he grabbed Haru's hand leading him to the nearest omega toilet. It was fine because he hadn't developed his secondary gender yet.
"Oh, that's what happened." Midoriya sighed. "I thought something bad had happened when he started squirming he just needed a toilet break."
"Yeah, it's nothing." I smiled.
"Continue the story!" Uraraka demanded. "It is fine if, Baku- or I mean Kirishima Katsuki doesn't hear it, he was there.
"Ah, it's fine to call him Bakugou it would be confusing that way," I reassured.
"Good, it was confusing me." She smiled back.
"Continue." Todoroki suddenly said. We all looked over at him in surprise at his statement. "What I just want to hear the end." He said looking away, pink dusting his cheeks. His cute act made me giggle along with Uraraka and Midoriya.
"Okay let me continue. So after he asked me-"
"Why do you smile so damn much?"
"Why do I smile?" I asked confused by his sudden question.
All he did was nod in response.
Why do I smile? I had always been smiling way back then. Even during the tough times, where it didn't seem appropriate to smile at. His question amused me.
"And why do you scowl and frown so much then?"
His scowl turned into a surprised one at my sudden retort. He scuffed and smirked moving the food around his plate with a fork, before looking back up at me, with the still apparent smirk.
"Well you go me there." a soft smile grazed his face, even though I didn't know him that well, judging by his personally I think I had just seen something rare.
"Personally I think that was the first time my heart had skipped a beat," I said dreamily at the fond memory.
"How adorable!" Uraraka squealed.
Katsuki came back holding Haru's hand. He sat back onto his seat and grabbed his parfait and continued to eat it.
"Welcome back." I greeted with a smile.
"We're bwack~" Haru responded with a bright smile, no longer in discomfort. Katsuki didn't respond as he continued to eat.
"I continued the story without you, is that okay?"
"Yeah, whatever..." He said as he gave some of his parfait to Haru's whose mouth was already open in anticipation.
"Okay so-"
"Ah, it's pretty late why don't we meet up again!" I asked slightly hoping he would say yes.
He didn't respond only getting up and heading for the door. After I quickly paid for the meal and giving the waiter a tip. I ran after him.
Maybe he doesn't like me. I thought to myself.
As we walked in silence towards the place where his car was, I felt something cold land on my head. Looking up along with Bakugou little pretty snowflakes had started to fall onto us. I looked over at Bakugou only for us to make eye contact. In that specific, it felt as if we were the only ones in the world.
We made eye contact for a few more seconds before Bakugou broke it by looking away and continued walking down the path, in the now snowy night. The cold air had made his ears red, which I found adorable.
Eventually, we got to his car, I felt a little sad because not only had the date been a failure but Bakugou didn't want to have another one.
"Goodbye Bakugou," I said giving him a small wave as I started to leave. Before I could, he grabbed my arm, making me turn towards him. He slammed something in my hand before quickly entering his car.
I looked down at the item he had put in my hand. My initial thought of thinking the date was a failure was gone. For the little piece of paper with his phone number had rid my mind of doubt.
As I headed home I smiled as I remember his extremely red and embarrassed face as he put a piece of paper into my hand.
Yep, he really was adorable.
Most secondary genders are developed during highschool. They usually take and examination test to check, in special cases it can develop earlier that is why Haru is allowed in the omega toilet. Toilets like that exist to help prevent attacks on omegas so they section them off from alphas and betas
