"Bakugou~!" Kiro called me over. I stomped over to him. "I hope you don't mind I invented some of our ex-classmates over?" He smiled at me oblivious to my anger.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I DON'T MIND!" I yelled angrily at my friend. "I only invited you I didn't allow you to bring over some of your worthless piece of-" a familiar pair of hands pulled me into their chest protectively, quieting my outburst from his comforting scent. "Eijiro let me go, let me at him!" I struggled in alpha's arm.
"Sorry, for my cute little omega's outburst" He snuggled me further into his strong arms.
My face reddened at his action, I glanced up at Kiro trying to gauge what he thought of all of my Eijiro. I noticed he was quiet for a few seconds staring directly at Eijiro, with a blank expression like he was analyzing him. For a brief second, I sensed a change in the atmosphere. For whatever reason, I felt very uncomfortable.
"Oh-ho so this is your amazing mate huh!" Kiro happy front came back on like earlier never happened.
"Ah yeah..." For some reason I felt very awkward, I avoided his gaze and stared towards the ground.
"Nice to meet you I'm Kirishima Eijiro, the CEO of-"
"R.C, I know you are a very famous alpha, not only are you kind and gentle you're also very smart, having made the R.C company as high as it is now!" to my surprise Kiro complimented Eijiro but it felt strained. "Amazing Bakugou to be able to get such a great alpha!" He said grabbing my arms and smiled at me with a strained expression.
It was weird seeing Kiro with such an expression before I could ask we got interrupted by the familiar cute bubbly voice of Haru.
"Mama! Cwan we swim nwow?! I swaw fwishes!" I looked over at Haru with a soft smile of my own, trying to ignore the previous awkward feeling.
"Yes, we can go swimming in a sec, their called fish by the way not 'fishes'." I corrected Haru.
"'Fish? But I learned in school that when you talk about many things you add s, ies, or es at the end?" Haru inquired he was correct, but...
"You see fish is a special word, just like how you only say sheep as sheep even if there are two sheep. It is a special word as well." I hoped I explained clearly for Haru, as I am not the best teacher in the world.
It's amazing in itself how Haru is such a kind and sweet boy even if I'm his mum, but I guess I have Eijiro to thank for that. Without him, Haru would definitely be different.
"Wow, Bakugou you really are a parent, and you act like one as well" Kiro commented, looking down at Haru. With a warm smile. "Hi, there buddy boy, names Kiro. What's yours?" Haru being the shy baby boy he was, looked up at me in conformation. I nodded at him.
"My nwame is H-hawu..." he trailed off running over to Eijiro to hide behind his long masculine legs.
"He's shy" Eijiro smiled at Kiro. "Unlike his mother..." his side commented earned him a smack on the head. I am not a shy little omega!
"Then maybe you should have married a shy and little omega then."
"I can never love anyone other than you~" he sang, making my face flare-up. He is way too annoying! Even so, my face betrayed my thought and a smile pulled itself onto my face.
It's not my fault my omega side loves compliments from their alpha!
....Though I like it as well
"Anyways let's go" I pulled Eijiro's hand into my own and dragged him along with Haru towards the glistening sea. Maybe it was just my imagination but I think I heard a soft 'tch' coming from Kiro. Though when I looked back he was waving at me a smile still plastered onto his pale skin and his orange hair flared up from the sunlight shining into it. I shrugged it off and continued walking with my family to the seashore.
Once Haru got a full glimpse of the beautiful sparkling water, he immediately did a beeline to it, bolting straight for the water. Fear immediately shot me off running after my mischievous son.
"Haru wait!" I thought I was too late and he was immediately going to jump into the water but he stopped right in front of it. I grabbed his shoulder from his sudden halt. "Haru what are you doing didn't I tell you not to run ahead of me and your dad! Why didn't you listen!" I realized that I had raised my voice a little too much scaring Haru. Haru stared at me with a scared expression, I never thought someone being scared of me could be so heartbreaking. I never really cared if people were scared of me. in fact it made me feel somewhat powerful, but seeing Haru with such an expression directed towards me filled my heart with nothing but grief.
"Haru I'm so-" Haru's face contorted from fear into a frown, small hiccups poured out of his small mouth, before tears started to gush out. I wanted to apologize but. "I never knew I could give birth to such a weak child." I immediately regretted it as his sniffles became full-on wails of grief. Oh, sh*t I didn't mean that. Even so, my body made no movements to comfort my crying child. He should be able to learn how to be strong. He wails did not stop.
"Katsuki what's wrong with Haru" Eijiro ran up towards us, worry spread all over his face. He shot down towards Haru. Haru leaped into his arms, the comforting scent of his father quietened his wails and turned them into quiet sniffles. Eijiro stood up to face me with Haru curled up in his arms.
"What happened?" He asked in a gentle tone, for some reason, all it did was make me even moodier.
"None of your f*cking business." I snapped.
"Katsuki what's wrong with you lately you've been super moody? We promised to never make Haru cry." Bring up a promise we made after a week of having Haru was cruel. We made that promise as a way to make sure we never let Haru go through the same pain as a parent betraying you. So we promised to never let Haru be sad, to never make him cry because of us or never hurt him. As those were all things our parents had done to us.
I looked up at Haru to face his tearful face, still on the brink of crying. He kept on sniffling while holding onto Eijiro's neck.
"mama...I'm sowwy...." his quiet heartbroken voice just made me feel horrible. I promised and I wasn't going to break it. I snatched Haru from Eijiro's arms and pulled him into a warm hug.
"And mama is sorry too" I whispered into Haru tiny ears, lay butterfly kisses on his small forehead. From the heartwarming scene, we all let out comforting scents calming all of us in the area.
"Okay!" Eijiro suddenly yelled before jumping onto me and pushing me into the water along with a petrified Haru. I screamed in fright before plummeting down into the cold deep blue water along with Haru who held onto me for his dear life.
Eijiro busted out of the water laughing his ass off. That's funny eh. I looked over at Haru after getting a nod in approval with both jumped onto Eijiro making me plummet into the water headfirst. He resurfaced frazzled and bewildered by the cold water.
Making both me and Haru burst out into full-blown laughter.
Making me finally be able to shake off the feeling of being watched if only briefly.
