Today I did homework, homework, and more homework. I worked a bit of coffee in to the schedule, but mostly just ground out hours of studying. I called Ashton for some help, but he didn't answer.
I'm sure he just forgot his phone somewhere.
I was slightly worried when he didn't call me back until 12 am.
His voice shook when he answered, and I asked what was wrong. "Just a cold," he'd reassured me.
I'm lying awake listening to Julie snore as I wrack my brain for what could possibly be wrong.
I keep drawing blank conclusions. It's making me nervous.
