Joe started for the west. Just so happens that the mutt is going there as well.
A news story was happening at a farm. It has been a great season for harvesting citrus. A female reporter in a black dress was on the case. "Horay! Today we have the most successful season in years." The reporter was by baskets filled with oranges. But one had a monkey in it.
The monkey was scared. One second he is with his brother and a little girl. The next he crashed landed. He poked his head out. The people watching thought it was cute. But the mutt and little girl didn't. She tried to break free to get to her brother. After hitting the mutt on his nose, she did and ran to the monkey. They are around the same size."He is?" The girl asked.
"There!" The monkey pointed east.
"Stop!" The mutt yelled at the two family members as he ran to them. That alerted Joe to the mutt. He ran past the dog of unknown origin and breed to see the girl and a monkey walk east. Joe ran to them. "Hey." He picked up the girl. "Your still alive!" He was excited to see that.
"She come with me." The monkey tried to grab her back. But since Joe is a human and strong his attempts did nothing. The girl pointed east. Then the monkey started to go. Making Joe go to know why they want to go east.
just so happens that east is into a frost of trees with fruit on them. The reporter got word of how many viewers they got because of the little monkey. She got a idea. "Lets go into the place where this success came from." The reporter went out into the woods to find the monkey.
Deep in the woods the group of the monkey, Joe and the little girl where lost. Joe sat by a tree holding the girl in his arms. The monkey was up in the tree trying to find a land mark he knows. But nothing except leaves and fruit.
"Are we at the cabin?" Joe has been seeing things. Possibly from heat stroke.
"Cabin?" The monkey dropped down next to the man that is either too hot or going insane.
"Am I dying?" Joe had his belt on his forehead. The top of the clothes he wore was undone since his belt is not there. The girl was somehow just sweaty. She was using a vine as a hair tie. "Buzz?" She looked deeply into the eyes of Joe. "You good?"
"Here he is." Joe was losing it.
"Shade!" The monkey started to try and push the man. It was helpless until the girl jumped in and helped. After time they moved the man into shade. Or did the sun move just to help? The heat calmed down as it became a cold breeze. Thank the heavens that it happened.
It has been a day since they went into the woods. A fight had broke out of where to go.
"East." The monkey seems to know more then he should.
"Nuh huh." The girl looked at her furry companion. "There." She pointed west. To the dismay of the others.
"How about we settle this over rock pepper scissors?" Joe chimed in before it was to late. But instead of helping he just made them more mad. The monkey stormed east. The girl was in tears.
"Don't worry. I'm here." Joe tried to cheer up the kid, to no avail.
I have been in here for a day. The smell of grass and trees cover me with stains of the green. Why must finding her be so hard? I'm half tempted to stop the contract.
Hmm. Tree with pine green leaves. A dog in a helmet with two daggers. Wait! Why is there a dog with daggers here!! Here of all places! Oh goodness. What do I do? Oh no! He is approaching me!
