First Power

Cora's POV
I opened my eyes to see Draco looking at me. "Good morning sleepy head." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Good morning." I sat up and rubbed my eyes and I saw all my things in the room and Cookie sleeping on his bed I normally have in my room. "What's all this?" I asked looking back at Draco. "Oh right, Severus came in early this morning and dropped it all off saying that your staying with me." "Wait really?" "Yeah, come on let's get ready for school." He smiled and got out of bed as I laid down taking up the whole bed. Draco laughed and shook his head walking to the bathroom.

  "This is all happening so fast, but I really like Draco...maybe more then like." "Come on Cora go get ready, I'm hungry and want breakfast." I heard Draco laugh. I looked over to see he was completely ready for the day.  "Ok I'm going I'm going." I got up and dragged myself out of bed.

  When I got back I saw Draco already feeding cookie. "Thanks Draco." I smiled walking over to him. He stood up to face me and grabbed my waist pulling me in. "Your welcome love." He kissed me and I kissed back passionately. His hands traveled to my back pulling me in even more while my fingers ran threw his hair. He licked my lip and I opened my mouth a little bit giving him a small entrance. Our tongues moved together it was the perfect moment until I heard his stomach growling. I giggled pulling away. "Aww I wanted to keep going," he wined. "I did to but we're both hungry, now come on let's go." I pecked his lips, grabbed my bag, and took his hand dragging him out of the room.

  When we got to the grand hall there wasn't many people like normal. Almost everyone skips breakfast which I don't know why.

  When we were done eating we walked to potions class. I saw pansy in my seat smiling at Draco as we walked in of course we were super early so she was the only one in the class. We both walked over to her hand and hand "Pansy I don't know if you got the gist but me and Draco are together," I scoffed at her. "Well you know what Blade I don't give a shit, I'm not moving." "Then I'll move you." I let go of Draco's hand before he could do anything. "Cora don't," he tried to stop me. She tried to punch me which I moved out of the way. She lunged at me pinning me to the floor anger was rushing threw my veins. I felt my body get really cold for some reason when Pansy let go stumbling back. I looked at my arms and saw they were frozen but it didn't hurt "What's going on here?" I heard Severus asked walking in. He looked at me in shock. "Pansy leave and don't speak of this to anyone, if you do you will be expelled," Severus gave her an evil glare and she ran out of the room.

  Draco came up to me and held my face with one of his hands looking into my eyes. I calmed down a lot and I looked back at my arms to see them back to normal. "There you go love." He smiled kissing my forehead. "What happened?" I asked I saw Severus on the phone. "I canceled class today, you've discovered one of your powers, maybe they will be the same as your dads." He whispered the last part which I heard. "My dad had powers!" I yelled getting off the floor. "Yes Cora."

  "So what just happened to me?" I asked taking a seat with Draco following and placing a hand on my leg. "You just reveled a special power they've been in your family for generations but the death finders find you guys and kill you, which that's not going to happen with you because your the strongest out of all of them, your eyes go along with your powers each person in your family may have different powers, you were controlling ice and snow which was something your dad had, your eyes turned bright blue and everyone has something to calm them down when they first start getting there powers, yours for example is Draco, but over time you will be able to control it and use them when ever you please."

  "How did you find all of this out?" "Threw your father, I helped him control them and I will help you." I got up and hugged him which he hugged back. "Thank you for everything." "Your welcome, but don't think for a second you will stop using spells, your powers drain your energy but using magic doesn't, you will keep working on your spells and showing up to class, nothing has changed I will still teach you and Draco after school some days but I will also teach you to control your power." I nodded "When do we start?" "After school today around 4, I will teach Draco some spells and you a little about controlling your powers, also keep thinking of those spells, you two are free to go I will see you later." I smiled and grabbed Draco's hand taking him out of the room.
