Chapter 7 *Cont.*

Carter POV-

Me: "Baby girl lets go get you ready..."

We go upstairs to her room and walk in her closet

Me: "Let's see what can you wear for today..."

Cartier: "Well. I know I want my sandles..."

Me: "Which ones?"

Cartier: "The all white ones..."

I pull out a pair of sandles and hold them up. She has more than one pair of all white sandals

Me: "These?"

She nods and give me a thumbs up. I got out her outfit which was a colorful romper (MM) and her jewelry to match. She freshened up and I get her ready. When I finish, I freshen up and get dressed (MM). While I'm doing my make up, Xavier text me asking for my address. I send it and finish my make up

*5 minutes later*

Right when I go downstairs, my doorbell goes off. I tell Tiara to sit on the couch and wait. She nods and I go answer the door. And it's Xavier. And Demetri...

Me: "Hey Demetri"

Demetri: "Hey Ms. Carter"

When I tell them to come in, I look at Xavier

Me: "I didn't know you had a kid..."

Xavier: "I didn't know you had one either until Demetri told me. When were you gonna tell me I had a daughter...?"

Me: "Fuck you mean?"

Xavier: "You shoulda told me you had a daughter so I can claim her as mines. Cuz she soon will be..."

Me: "You crazy as hell if you think that..." I said walking off

Xavier: "Your ass looks good!"

I flip him off and he starts laughing. When we walk in the living room,  Cartier face lights up

Demetri : "Hey Cartier!"

Cartier: "Demetri!" She said hugging him

Demetria: "This is my dad"

She waved and I grabbed my phone and purse. And we left. Xavier just don't know how good he looks lol
