Chapter 2: you did WHAT?!

Maria's perspective:

I woke up the next morning feeling exhausted. I got up and got dressed for the day, went to check my phone and sensed i had a missed call and a text from someone. So i first called back the number, it was Mal. "Maria, what did you do last night...?" :Mal asked in an unusually calm tone. I got nervous and said, "i just enjoyed the party, i...i danced with Hades." :i responded nervously but, i guess she was just worried. "oh yeah, well my dad told me you gave him your number! What were you thinking! He may be my dad but, did you think he might be using you?" :Mal yelled. "I don't care Mal! I'm happy for the first time in my miserable life and THIS is what you do to me?! You know what? why don't you call me back when you've have time to think ad calm down!" :i yelled back then hung up. i sighed angrily.

Mal's perspective:

"ugh!" :i grunted. "Why would you do that to her Mal?" :Evie asked annoyed. "i'm just trying to protect her..." :Mal answered. "From your own father? don't you think you should be happy for him, now that he's finally moving on from the terrible experiance that was your mother? And don't you think you should be happy for Maria, she's never found love and now she might have a chance but that might not happen if you keep yelling at her like that..." :Evie responded calmly. "*i sigh* you...you might be right about that Ev but for now, i just...need to think." :i said.

Maria's perspective:

i used my abilites to read over the text on my phone, it was from Hades, i sigh as i text him about the warning that Mal was going to call me. i texted back saying she already did and she was NOT happy but that i was going to let what she said sway me. He responded back that he's glad i got that out of the way and taken care of, he then asked if he could hang out with me today. I respond back saying sure and suggested a movie night at my apartment and then hit the send button. he responded back with a sure and asked me where i live and what time he should be there. I gave him my address and asked him if 6:30pm was okay. he said yes and said he would see me later with a winky face emoji. i smiled and put my phone down. i would also make sure to tell him that i'm blind before this friendship goes any further, though i'm nervous as how that will go, its not okay to lie to someone...Applejack told me that one. time to prepare a selection of movies for tonight.

*Time Skip*

Maria's perspective:

i heard a knock at my door, my wall clock said 6:29pm, he was right on time and i went to go open the door. i opened the door and let Hades in. "Glad you could make it Hades." :i said with a smile. "wouldn't miss this for the world." :He responded back with a bit of a smirk. "I hope you enjoy the the selection of movies i picked!" :I said with a smile a bit of blush on my face already. i was already a bit nervous due to the fact i was going to tell him that i'm blind. halfway through the movie marathon i started to get cold. "H-Hey hades?" :i said. "Yeah maria, what is it?" :He responded. "Would it, would it be okay if i cuddled up to you? i'm cold..." :I asked shyly. "heh heh, of course go ahead." :He said with a smile and a bit of blush creeping up on his face. i cuddled up to him and he gently put an arm around me. A few minutes after the movie ended he noticed that i seemed a bit tense. "Is everything okay Maria? you seem tense, like you have something on your mind." :he asked me. i sighed and told him "there is something on my mind..." :i responded as i faced towards him. "Well, what is it?" :He said. "Hades before this friendship goes any further...there's something you should know Hades, i'm blind..." :i told him nervousness swirled around in my eyes. "your blind? huh, that explains why you seem as if you can't see my facial expression. i don't care if your blind, i still enjoy your company a lot." :He told me with a soft smile. "R-Really?! Wow, th-thank you, no one has EVER said that to me. that really means a lot to me Hades!" :I responded with a grin. as the night the more they talked. and after Hades left, i turned off the tv changed into the pajama's, i went to bed.

my last thought of the night was: 'that wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, he was really nice to me. maybe...maybe i will find love after all'
