The day of the dance

"I'm not prepared.....I feel like I didn't heal fast enough, what if I fall? Gee I'm not the only one losing oxygen right?" I said as I caught my breathe

"Relax" Hyunjin reasured me

"Imma look back, imma look back to the future in fact let me exam....." We heard Changbin practicing for his rap. He came running to us when he saw us.

"Losers" He spit out

"Hey!!!" Hyunjin and I yelled

Changbin chuckled and left continuing to practice his lines.

We sat down with out department. Watching other departments performing.

"Next up............make some noise students!!!! Theeeeeeee dance DEPARTMENT!!!!!!"

My heart started to race. Anxiety kicking in and everything. I was trying to remember the moves but my mind went blanc.

Hyunjin noticed me panicking so he intertwined his fingers with mine. He gave me a big reassuring smile.

We got on to the stage. A whole lots of students were facing us. Our department cheering the loudest.

Hyunjin got in position and so did I.

"I love you" He mouth. Why do I deserve someone like this. He is so special

The music started. I swayed to the rhythm. I felt happy. I haven't felt this in a long time. Hyunjin's touch, scent,eyes and most of all his personality.

Why.....did he not give up on me? He always gave me what I want. I was just a pain to him.

The song finished and we ended up close to each other. We bowed to the audience

The mic squeeled and everyone covered their ears or screamed.

"Ehem well we have the winner" They announced

Everyone held hands with their team. Waiting for the announce of the winner. Silence could be heard, only the mumbles of people praying were heard.

"The winner is...........the rap department"

Cheering was heard from the rap department. Changbin ran to the stage to get his mystery prize.

Everyone else was sad but happy for them.

"Our bet" Hyunjin said in my ear

"I get to hate you.." I replied

Hyunjin looked at me in the eyes and nodded.

"Well Hyunjin I do hate you......for not giving up on me.....which was the best decision you did" I grabbed his shirt to lower him down. I was about to kiss him until I heard Changbin yell

We both looked at Changbin.

"Hyunjin" Changbin called

Hyunjin got up on stage not knowing why he was called

"Prize is two tickets to Busan"

Changbin gave Hyunjin the tickets.

"Take your girl" He winked

Hyunjin came back to his seat. "Do you want to come on a date with me?" He asked me. Him already knowing my answer kissed me.

Awwwwww Many students said watching us.

Hyunjin took my hand and started running away from the crowd. We ran for a bit until we stopped.

"Why stop?" I asked

"Firat of all i'm out of breathe, second of all I need to face my biggest fear" He said

"Already done?" A voice came from afar

The lady came near. I could see who she was. The most hated women of my life.

Hyunjin's mom

"Mom" Hyunjin called

His mom then stopped right infront of us. Hyunjin still had his hand intertwined with mine. I was trying to pull my hand but he gripped it.

"Mom......meet Laura" He hesitated to say but managed to. He then gripped my hand. I could tell he was scared.

His mother then had a faint smile. She looked at me up and down like she use to but not in a disgusting way.

"I'm sorry......the things I said to you......I take every word back. I realized I went to far that day when we met again at the practice room. Hyunjin covered for you. When you left I heard him yell your real name. I found him crying. I never felt so hurt. He was crying because he was suffering. Then I noticed he didn't care about wealth or appearances he loved you for who you were. So......I want you two to be happy alright

I didn't know what to feel, but Hyunjin for sure did. He was crying, his mom hugged him. This reminded me the day I cried and he was there

His mom then was trying to calm him down.

I saw that the mom had a headset with her. "Can I borrow that" I asked at the most dumest time. She gave it to me I paired my phone with it.
I put the headphones on Hyunjin of course I told him to bend down cause this boi tall af

Shoothing music played. He looked at me. "The first day we met" he said
He pulled me into a hug

"I love you"

"I love you too" I answered
