These characters belong to the lovely Jen Calonita, not me..sadly.

"Hey I don't feel so good", said Gilly, nervously. "I'll meet you guys later."

Jax gave Gilly a concerned look, he was always a little overprotective ever whenever Jack came along to the friend meetings, and especially now with everything going on. Gilly didn't feel the need, or want, for one of Jax's famous talks about how it was okay to be sad or scared about everything that was happening. After Ollie had "the talk" he started calling them "mom talks", ever since everyone (especially jocelyn) wanted nothing to do with them. Yep, not what she needed right now.

"Do you want me to walk you to your dorm?' asked Jax. Gilly sensed some nervousness in his voice, odd he was never nervous.

"No I'm good." Gilly looked back at him with the smallest of smiles, "thanks though."

He nodded kindly and gave me a sideways smile that he'd developed under her past three years. The smile that said "I understand, its okay." It was one of the top things Gilly loved about Jax, the ability to make her feel warm on the coldest days.

This was why Jax was her closest friend in the whole world.

She walked past the magnificent halls, sneaking around so she wouldn't be caught by Miri. Eventually she wound up at the gardens in the back of the castle. She walked past the enormous bushes of roses, smelling the wonderful scents. She found herself sitting on the edge of the magical water fountain tears flowing into the water and washed away.

What all of Gilly's friends didn't know that this was Anna's birthday. Anna would have been celebrating her fourteenth birthday with Gilly and the rest of her family, a normal teenager celebrating like they were supposed to. But that hadn't happened in three years. Anna wasn't here, why was Gilly surprised.

She opened her mouth and started to sing the beautiful song she had sung with Anna all these painful years ago. She sang until the tears stopped her, causing her to choke.

"Anna's never coming back." she sobbed. The tears continued to fall down her face. She started thinking about the lyrics. " I'd sew one hundred thousand shoes to make all your dreams come true." Anna had so many wonderful dreams. Anna was the one who was supposed to make mother and father proud. Anna was the one who would continue the family legacy. Not Gilly, she was the rebel, she was the bad girl, she was the one who was supposed to have left and never returned. Not Anna."If I had to start anew, I'd do it all again for you." If only she could. Her sister, her beautiful sister who had so much promise had gone bad and was gone. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, sore from crying."I'm never going to see her again."

"Yes you will."

Gilly stood back up suddenly and gasped.

"I'm sorry to sneak up on you I know I shouldn't have I just wanted to check if you were okay, and when I saw you there I didn't want to interrupt"

Jax was rambling at this point and Gilly was only half listening. He rushed forward and hugged him tight by his waist. Jax stopped taking and wrapped his arms around her. They both felt fully relaxed for the first time in years. This was were Gilly wanted to be for eternity, not crying until she hurt both in her heart and body. Anna would come back, she just had to give her time. Everything was going to be okay. These thoughts were not the only things that comforted Gilly.

Jax looked down at Gilly, his eyes full of understanding."Im so sorry."

She punched him in the arm and hugged him again, knowing he deserved it.

"Don't be."
