It was the day after the incident. Sam walked into his office to do some paperwork since it's been a while since he has had free time to do so. Its gonna be a quiet day because the Pontypandy pioneers are going on a field trip to Newtown Zoo. Sam started on his work.
"Sam I will like to see you in my office in a few minutes." Sam was so into his work that he didn't even realize Station officer Steele had walked into the room. Sam was startled.
"Oh uh yes of course Sir. I'll be right there." Steele had left the room. Sam finish up his last report and headed off to Station Officer Steele's office. Sam knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Steele yelled from inside.
Sam's POV:
I walked into the room, curious about what Station Officer Steele had to say. Chief fire Officer Boyce was in the room. They both looked quite serious. A lot more then usual. Must be something important.
"Good afternoon Sirs" I greeted
"Hello Sam. I've heard that there was an issue last night." Boyce said. Oh no he's probably gonna make me go to disciple code.
"Yes Sir."
"Well is it true that you touched Firefighter Morris in an inappropriate manner." Boyce asked a little angrily. Boyce always cared for Penny like a daughter.
"I'm sorry Sir. It just happened. I couldn't control it. I promise it won't happen again." I apologized.
"No Sam. You are one of my best firefighters I have. It can't be known that one of our most respected leaders has acted in this behavior and disrespected one of their fellow Co-worker in an inappropriate and unruly manner." Boyce explained, nearly yelling at me. Omg he can't really be saying this. Well the worst that he could do is transfer me to a different fire Station.
"I understand Sir. I'm going to be transfer to a different fire Station team until further notice." I said nervously. Station Officer Steele is just standing there not even talking. It's not like him to act like that.
"Sam, I never thought I will have to do this......You can't be a firefighter at all." Boyce calmly said. Did he just....fired me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"But Sir...." I pleaded, holding back my tears.
"I'm sorry Sam. I have no other choice."
I put my walkie-talkie, badge, firefighter hat and placed it on the desk in front of me. I walked out without saying a word. I have lost everything. I ran off to the mountains where no one will find me. I just can't believe it. Thats the last thing I needed in my life. My heart was torn apart. I went into a cave and started to cry like a baby. It's true, I'm no hero.
