Astronaut

I am an astronaut.
I travel through the night.
Endless worlds lie before me
and I can choose where I go.

And I can travel to other planets,
I can see suns a million times brighter
and bigger than ours.
I can float through fields of dust.
I walk through the void.
I swirl into black holes
and get spat out at the other side.
I stalk through the shadows.

I stare at you from the shadows,
out of my helmet,
you don't see my lifeless trancing face.

In the darkness
out of the shadows
I stare at you.

Will you stare back in fear?

I am an astronaut.
