(Ethan's POV)*

Laughter all around me,eyes burning as they stared down at me. That's all I remember then everything was black.

(Maddys POV)

I turned around to see a circle of teens surrounding someone on the ground,

IT WAS ETHAN!!!

I ran up to Ethan only to see he had a gash to his head. I ran up to the jocks that where the cause of this.

And at that moment I knew what I had to do.

I yelled "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!"

"no answer"

"I SAID, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!"thats when I was really pissed. My hands where clenched in tight fists ready to punch.

"If I ever see you touch one of them again I will hunt your ass down and personally make you sorry!" I said stepping closer.

Even if I was only a 5'4 96 pound girl, I sure could pack a punch when I am angry.

Soon I realized that everyone had backed away. then I realized they all had left. I don't blame them I was pretty furious. But my thoughts soon erased when I felt a hug from behind.

It was Grayson.

"Thank you so much Maddy, I'm sorry I didn't help I was kind of shocked at what was going on." Grayson said.

"No problem, and I'm sorry you had to see me get upset. but those guys really hade worked up! " I practically shout.

Maddy! it's okay. don't ever be sorry. you just did something I wouldn't even have been able to do. Grayson whispered.

I then looked over at Ethan

then quickly at Grayson.

"Go get some ice and paper towel,please" I said trying to be polite as possible but feeling rushed by the fact Ethan was still knocked out.

"Kay be right back" Grayson then sped off to the nurses office.

I knelt down next to ethan. I kissed his forehead lightly and cried out

"Please Dear God, please please please make sure Ethan is okay. please!"

I was in tears now, why would someone do this. why! I asked myself on frustration.

When suddenly I heard a faint voice.

I looked down to see Ethan opening his eyes ever so slowly.

I looked down at him and gave him a nother kiss in the forehead and said. "Ethan?"

"Hey Maddy I heard what you said. Thank you so much for praying for me to be okay."Ethan spoke up.

I looked down and managed to say

"It was nothing really Ethan, I just wanted to make sure, you were really okay."

"It was more than nothing, oh and by the way your lips are really soft, maybe you should see if there as soft on my lips" Ethan said smirking.

I blushed and helped him stand up.

"You really are a goof." I said.

"Yeah but I'm your goof" Ethan said.
