(Ethan's POV)

There I was in the middle of jacks house getting grinded on by a drunk girl, not to mention I was drunk as well.
Out of no where I was grabbed and spun around facing Grayson face to face. He was sober.Its not like him or me to get drunk...except I was this time.
I was then snapped out of my thoughts when Grayson's hand grabbed my shirt at the neck.
"WTF ETHAN,HOW FUCKING DARE YOU FUCKING DO THIS. YOU MESSED UP EVERYTHING! WHY
WERE YOU GRINDING ON THAT SLUT! MADDY, SAW YOU BTW SHE SEEMED PISSED YOU BETTER HAVE NOT RUINED ME AND MADDY BEING FRIENDS! IF UOU DID I SWEAR! YOU WILL REGRET EVERYTHING." Yelled Grayson.

That's when my face dropped. Maddy. what have I done. Maddy's the one person that I felt close to beside my brother.I have to say I'm in love with her it true, Now I messed everything up.

I quickly grabbed my jacket and ran to Maddy's house.

(Maddys POV)

I burst thru the door and ran to the bathroom. Why the fuck am I so dumb why am I so ugly why do am I even alive? are some of the questions o asked my self as I slid the cold silver blade thru layers of skin. I cut about 8 cuts and I was then shocked out of it by the bang on the door and the sound of Someone shouting my name from the other side of the door. Then everything seemed to get fuzzy and I felt cold.

(Ethan's POV)

I burst into Maddy's house. I heard nothing but faint sobs. I followed the sound shouting Maddy's name. I was starting to worry my eyes were filled with tears.
I screamed Maddy at the top of my lungs one last time then I heard nothing. I ran to the bathroom and tryed the door, it was locked! I knocked and tryed to listen. When I heard nothing that's when I kicked the door in to see Maddy laying down in a pool of blood and a small silver blade.
I bent down and this is when I was balling I couldn't keep anything in. this was my fault! maddy? maddy? please Maddy ? I started to pray like Maddy did for me I whispered under my breath. "dear, God if your up there please don't let her fall into your hands at least not now. I love her she's all I have she's all my heart needs. I messed it up and I regret everything I did. I was drunk for heaven knows why. I just can't let her die like this."
I took her wrist and saw she had scars. scars that wernt fresh they have been there.
How was I ever so dumb. I should have been here by her side. I knew she would never love me she's to good for me. I miss her so much. please please ple.. I was cut off by a soft cough and a light breath. MADDY? I brought her up to my chest and hugged her. I heard a voice then.
"Ethan, I heard what you said."
"Ohh.." I scratched the back of my neck in a sign of embarrassment at first. but then I felt soft lips clash on mine. I automatically kissed back.
I had finally done it. I kissed her well she kissed me but still.

"I finally know what it's like to kiss a prince." Maddy smirked at me.

"Oh and by the way... your not my goof"
She said staring up at me.
I looked down in sadness.
"I'm your goof." she smiled.
Then I pulled her in for the best kiss of my life.

"I love you I whisperd." as I helped her bandage up her cuts.

"Not as much as I love you." she whispered back.

" I promise I will try to fix you maddy."
"You being here already got me one step closer."
