Mixed emotions

(Maddys POV)

Once I got out of my shower I quickly slid into my light pink skinny jeans and a floral top then slipped my pink vans on and grabbed my blue crop jacket.

I quietly walked out of the bathroom , I looked around the corner and saw Ethan sleeping. I tiptoed over to my dresser and grabbed my earrings and put them in. I was then startled when I felt someone push up against me from behind I didn't even have to turn around to think it was Ethan but when I turned around I gasped it wasn't Ethan but Grayson.

"whoa Hey watch the hands." I heard ethan say in his morning groggy voice.

"Don't worry eth it's not like that." grayson said.

"Better not be".. ethan said getting up and stepping closer to me.

He gave me a nice big hug and a kiss on the forehead.

"alright stop bragging I know she's yours." Grayson said making a pouty face.

"Alright come on in here." I said opening my arms.

"GROUP HUG!!!" We all yelled.

"Oh yea and Grayson how the hell did you get into my house?" I asked

"Remember you gave us a spare key." he said holding it up.

"So what did you want?" Ethan asked in a confused and annoyed tone.

" If you must know I was coming to check up on Maddy considering she is my friend and the last time I saw her she was upset." Grayson responded.

"Well hurry up, me and Maddy are planning to hang out today." ethan said as he walked to the bathroom.

" How are you Maddy? is everything alright now? Ethan wasn't himself shay night just please don't be ma..."

"Shhh Grayson I'm okay, everything's fine and I know Ethan was drunk it's okay,I forgave him." I said as I brought him into a hug of a assurance.

We decided to go downstairs and make breakfast. Grayson watched my every move he was like a young kid watching spongebob. I must have forgot that Grayson didn't know all what happened last night. All of a sudden I felt him turn me around and pushed up my sleeve. why are there bandages in your arms Maddy? He looked at me in the eyes and I knew I couldn't keep this from him. I opened my mouth and told him what had been happening. he pulled off my bandages revealing my fresh cuts. I winced when he gently touched them. he looked up at me with hurt eyes and his once light brown eyes were dark coco brown. "I'm sorry Maddy I didn't mean to..." Grayson started.
"Grayson it's okay you didn't mean harm."I said tilting his head up
He had glassy eyes I could tell he was going to cry.
I brought him over to the couch I made him sit on my lap this time. I brought him into a tight hug. and whispered to him. "Grayson it's not your fault, don't even begin to think it was or is. you know I love you and I wouldn't want to hurt you ever. I didn't want you to find out like this. the only person that knows is EthanI didn't even want him to find out. but I just want you to know you will never drive me to do that and it will never be because of you."
I felt soft warm tears fall down my neck. I told him " it's okay to cry Grayson it's okay."

He leaned up and kissed my cheeks. please never hurt your self never leave me please maddy.

I won't Grayson I won't I promise.
