Make it Or Break it

(Ethans POV)
Maddy and Grayson finally came back upstairs after about 15 minutes. I wasn't really sure what took them so long all I knew was Grayson looked like he had been crying. His eyes were puffy and red.

"Are you okay staying here Grayson?" Maddy asked.

Actually I was wondering if...." Grayson started.

"Oh no don't even think about ruining me and Maddys plans today." I said sternly

Grayson stormed out he seemed upset. but I let it slide.

"Ethan." Maddy said with a concerned look.

"What? I really just want to spend time with you and you only."

"Can we at least see what's wrong?" Maddy said with a pouty face.

"Sure you go check. go spend more time with him than me see what happens! WOW I WAS DUMB TO THINK YOU WOULD LIKE ME MORE THAN HIM. Everyone likes him more. so go fucking leave me alone you honestly don't give a shit about anything but Grayson.

I looked at Maddys face. sadness filled her eyes. " you really think that I like Grayson more than you. I was making you breakfast for crying out loud for YOU! I guess those heart shape pancakes won't mean shit to you!"Maddy said yelling but her voice cracking from tears.

"THEN WHY WERE YOU TALKING TO GRAYSON FOR SO LONG!"

"HE ASKED ABOUT MY SCARS!" Maddy said dropping down to the ground in tears.

I can't believe what I just said

I ran to Maddy and rapped my arms round her.
"I am so sorry I didn't me...."

I was interrupted by Grayson yelling!

"WTF HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!!! WHY IS SHE CRYING I SWEAR IF TOU LAYED A HAND ON HER I WILL MAKE YOU SORRY AS HELL!"

Maddy got up and ran she booked out the front door and ran.

"Look what you did! why are you like this all of a sudden?" grayson asked

" I'm sorry I was just jealous of you and Maddy and i thought she had a thing for you and that's why you guys were talking so long." I was in tears in a corner of the room my head in my hands.

"You know she's crazy about you! and I love her but I know she will never love me like she loves you. you really fucked this up now." Grayson said

- later that day-

I watched the hours tick by still no sign of Maddy. I was getting worried it was now 11:22 pm it was pitch black out.

I decided to try to fall asleep maybe she was at a friends house.

- 12:31 pm-

I woke up and immediately ran to Maddys house. her parents were not home they had been going to work related meetings an traveling.

I knocked in the door just incase Maddy was not ready.
She didn't answer so I grabbed the spare key that I always had in my jacket pocket and opened the door.

I ran to Maddys room. she wasn't there she wasn't in the living room or the bathroom or her parents room. the house seemed untouched since the last time she was here.

I sat down on Maddys bed I grabbed the the picture she had of us in the side of her bed. tears filled my eyes. What if she did somthing, I've already almost lost her what if I lost her for real this time. I texted Maddy

E: Maddy? I'm sorry for what I said yesterday I just get so jealous when I see you with him. you don't know how much you mean to me. I am lost without you.... please come home please be okay please I love you.

*No answer *

I sat in her room I looked out the window as cars drove by one after another hour after hour tear shed after tear shed. thoughts rolled thru my head till I felt my eyelids fall shut.

I suddenly woke to the sound of a door close down stairs I sat up and turned around to see Maddy standing there tear stained cheeks but happy eyes. I stood up and immediately felt her stare. she backed up ever so slightly .
" Maddy? You know I would never hurt you.. at least I never would try."

She looked at me and walked closer without saying a word. She stood close to my face. I was getting ready for the worst, but instead felt her frail small body hug me as tight as she could. I looked down at her confused. "what was that for?" I asked

She leaned up to my ear and whispered " I love you to "

I picked her up and spun her around I kissed her feeling nothing but love.

I can't believe she loves me.
I felt another rush of happiness excitement and love go thru my body.

" I could never leave you. you are my sun and my moon." she said

"Madalyn I love you more than you know more than the stars in the sky."

I kissed her this time hard and we continued into a full make out session and that was the start of are new chapter. as girlfriend and boyfriend but better. Instead it was irreplaceable it was true love.
