[ Kaylee's POV ]
3:00 AM
I slowly sit up from my position of lying against Lucas's chest, biting my lip as I tried to get off of the couch without stirring him awake. I let out a breath as I stand up completely and make my way towards Elera's room. I hated being this way, but I couldn't bare leaving when everyone was awake. I didn't want to have to say goodbye to Lucas, Elera and Mark. It would be too heartbreaking. I had no idea what was happening with Lucas, but long distance was not something I think I could handle at all.
I made my way into her room silently and grabbed the bag I had already packed up, knowing I was going to do this. I slipped it over my shoulder and slowly closed her door behind me. Before I could make it to the front door, the light to the kitchen illuminated the walkway. Mark stood there, an eyebrow raised and his arms crossed over his chest.
" What are you doing?" he asked slowly, eyeing me and the state I was in. I tensed as I realized I had been caught, but if I had to be, I guess this was best case scenario. " Dammit Mark, why can't you just be asleep like everyone else." I tried to joke, but felt a lump begin to form in my throat, causing my eyes to tear up. " I-I'm going home." I whispered, feeling the tears begin to fall down my cheeks.
I quickly turned away from him, wiping the tears before I felt him move forward, wrapping his arms around me. " I get it..." He said softly, squeezing gently. " You'll be back. We can't let you be gone for long." He chuckled, letting me go but keeping his hands on my shoulders so I couldn't turn away. " I'll tell them something came up at home and you had to get there quickly. Keep your head up alright?"
I sniffled and nodded. " Thank you Mark." I said, leaning down and grabbing my bag once more. " Please....Please take care of Elera. I will not hesitate to jump on a plane just to beat your ass." I smiled, nudging him gently. " But I have a feeling I don't have to worry about you. You've proved to be more than an amazing guy for her. I just don't want to regret thinking that." He held up his hands and nodded.
" Yes Ma'am. I give you full permission to do whatever you need if I hurt her. I would deserve it."
I waved at him as I made my way outside to my car, opening my driver's side and sliding in. That's where I broke down. I didn't look back though. I started my car, driving off towards the car rental place where I could get a ride to the airport and get on my flight back home.
[ Elera's POV ]
" She left because she didn't want to say goodbye. " I said, smiling sadly as I looked at Mark with soft eyes. " It's nice of you to help her out with a cover story, but I know her too well. She's like this. She would of been in tears. I'm sure she's in tears anyway." I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I sat in bed. " Is Lucas awake yet?"
Mark nodded. " He went to his room when he found out Kaylee had went home. I haven't heard from him since. " He sighed, knowing that even though Lucas put up this somewhat manly front, he was just as sensitive. I nodded and got up, stretching my arms up as I started to wake up for the day. " Let's let him be for today. We go back to school tomorrow, he can relax and enjoy the last day. "

" Aww shit, here we go again. " I mumbled to myself as Lucas dropped me off on campus. We were close enough that I could walk, but after struggling to get up this morning and moping around the house, he decided to drop me off.
" Keep your head up! One more year and you're out into the world! " he smiled gently, unlocking the car doors for me to get out.
I grabbed my bag and swung it over my shoulder.
" One more year. " I mumbled softly before shutting the car door. I heard the window roll down as I turned my back.
" I love you!" he yelled, causing multiple people around the car to turn and look at us. I only laughed. " I love you too Lucas." I mumbled before quickly making my way to class.
I only had one morning class today. The good thing about college was that your days were far more spaced out then high school. You could do pretty much whatever you wanted for the majority of the day. I was taking one of my medical classes finally. I had gotten a lot of them out of the way, but this one I needed to be in my last year to even apply to take it.
The only problem with that, was that I had signed up with Jungwoo.
I opened the door to the class and standing there, leaning against the wall with his light hair was Mr.Jungwoo himself, a smirk on his face as he chatted away with an obvious hoe. I could be mad, sure. But where was the fun in that? I made my way past him, trying to get to a seat before my name slipped past his lips.
I turned, setting my bag in a seat and raising an eyebrow, flashing him a friendly smile. " Hey Jungwoo, what's up? " I asked, seeing his shoulders fall in what I could only assume was relief.
" I'm good. What about you? " he asked, walking over to take a seat next to me, but I set my leg up in the chair.
" You know, I'm doing so much better. I found someone who is treating me ten times better then you ever will AND he's so much better looking. " I said, sighing and leaning back in my chair before letting my eyes linger on the girl he was talking to. " you can sit here, I can share some things about this boy here I'm sure you'd love to hear." I smirked, watching as the girl rushed over and sat in the spot as soon as the bell rang.
" Better sit down before you get in trouble Jungwoo, and we both know you're dad would be so disappointed if you did. Being the perfect son and all. " I turned my attention to the front board as the professor walked in and towards the front of the room. Right before the lesson began, my phone vibrated with a Snapchat notification.

" A video? What the fuck...?" I mumbled to myself, looking down at my phone as I made my way through the crowd of students and to the safety of the sidewalk so I could walk home. It was a nice sunny day and I enjoyed walks after classes to clear my mind.
" Hi Elera! I just wanted to let you know that your boyfriend has the voice of an angle, I mean , listen to this. " Taylor cooed on the other end of the video, the screen moving from her face to the bathroom connected to Mark's room, his voice drifting from the door and out into the bedroom.
I gritted my teeth as I picked up my pace. That video was taken an hour or so ago. What the hell was she doing in our house? I dug in my backpack for my front door key as I drew closer, the house in sight in front of me. Her car wasn't in the driveway. Maybe she had left already. I finally found it and unlocked the door, watching Mark jump as he was right out front in the living room.
" Jesus Christ you scared the hell out of me! " he laughed, walking over and wrapping his arms around me, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. " I missed you today. I don't like going hours without at least seeing you." He mumbled, pulling away and furrowing his eyebrows. " Is everything alright? "
I looked around quickly, glancing up and down the hall before moving into the kitchen. " Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired is all. " I spoke hesitantly. " I'm not used to going back to class." I admitted, walking over and leaning into him.
" How about you and I watch a movie then? Cuddle and relax for the rest of the day? " he suggested, pushing some hair from my face. I nodded, loving the idea.
" I'll grab the snacks and meet you in my room then." I smiled, walking towards the kitchen. I stopped in the doorway and watched as he disappeared into my room before entering. I walked towards the snack cupboard when I heard a door again. I peeked around the corner out the door, watching Taylor emerge from Lucas's room, struggling to put a heel on and running her fingers along her lips.
Lucas leaned on the doorway, smirking. " Did we have too much fun? " he chuckled, taking her hand to help her balance and put her shoe on. She giggled obnoxiously, walking over and shaking her head. " It was perfect." She mumbled before giving him a kiss. " Let's do this again. I thought you'd be interested in some company. Glad to know I could give you a good time. " she winked as she walked towards the exit. I quickly hid behind the wall in the kitchen.
" Tell Mark I said bye! "
