[About A Month Later]

[Kaylee's POV]

It didn't take long for news to spread in Korea that Mark Lee was dating a girl no one had even heard of. They were spotted a few times out together the first week or two that Elera had arrived. Photos of them out at dinner surfaced and spread like wildfire, but no one had any information on her. Her name hadn't gotten out yet, but that didn't stop Twitter from trying to find her.

Music played loudly through the half empty house as I hummed gently to myself, setting my phone down after checking it any news had gotten out about my bestfriend. Lucas and I had spent all day yesterday rearranging the place to be more like "home". Lucas was beyond excited to have the place to ourselves and wanted to do whatever he could to "keep me around" despite me telling him I wasn't going anywhere anymore. I still had a place on campus, but my roomate was more than happy to have the place to herself while I was staying here. Mark and Elera had taken quite a bit of their furniture with them in the move which left us to do some furniture shopping later tonight when Lucas got back from his shoot.

I had NCT playing from the Alexa that was hooked up in the kitchen, the music easily floating through the house as it had no furniture to bounce against. I sang softly, sweeping the wood floors and thinking about my life now. I still hadn't told anyone I was pregnant. Not even Lucas. Guilt grew on me everyday as I kept trying to decide when the right time was.

"Baby?"

I jumped, broom in hand as I watched Lucas come through the front door, a wide smile on his face and a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He came over and grabbed the broom from me, wrapping his open arm around my waist and pulling me closer as he pressed his lips to mine. "Happy one month..." he mumbled, pulling away and looking down at me. I was all smiles yet slightly confused. He was such a hopeless romantic, which was hard to tell from his goofy attitude and intense looking exterior.

"I've been with you for longer than a month." I laughed and he shook his head.

"Happy one month of you physically being here with me." He said, taking my hand and gently squeezing it.

"Well These are beautiful Lucas.." I grinned, taking the bouquet of light purple and blue wildflowers and raising them to my nose. "I-I actually have something I could give you in the room. Stay here." I sat the flowers down on the coffee table we had in the living room and walked to the bedroom we shared. I pulled the small box I had hid from Lucas out of my underwear drawer, opening it and taking out Elera's note. I walked to my nightstand drawer, folded the small letter into a square before setting it inside and shutting it away. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to stop the quickening pace of my heartbeat. I made my way back to Lucas, who was now in the kitchen filling a vase for the flowers.

"I have been meaning to give this to you for some time now but I was scared." I said honestly. His entire mood changed when he looked over at me from the sink, seeing how timid I was to even look at him.

"Alright..." He said in between nervous laughter, walking over to me and gently taking the box I was holding out. "You don't have to be scared of anything Kaylee. You know I'm gonna love anything you get me." He said, gently lifting a hand to my chin so I would look at him. "Absolutely anything." He whispered, looking into my eyes so I knew he meant his words.

[Elera's POV]

"And this one says HoW tHe hELl dOeS nO OnE KnOw wHo tHiS gIrL Is. DiSpAtCh Do YoUr JoB!" I laughed, sitting down on the couch next to Mark who only shook his head, a laugh coming from his lips.

"I'm sorry we haven't been out very much. If I knew things were going to be like this, I probably would have been more careful from the start." He said, picking up a candle from the coffee table we sat in front of and lighting it. We had ordered food in for the night, something that had become a lot more normal than we both would have wanted.
