Rue- "Is orange juice okay?"

I sat on my bed as I added another coat of nail polish to my nails, half way through my notification on my phone went off. I placed the nail polish top back on and put it on the bedside table. After I placed the nail polish down I grabbed my phone being careful not to smudge the polish. The message was from Rue.
From: Rue Bear 🐻
I need to talk
to you x
I looked at the message before quickly typing a reply back to her.
To: Rue Bear 🐻
Yeah sure
I'm at home x
I placed my phone back down and made my way downstairs to wait for Rue to turn up.

It took Rue about five minutes to turn up. In all honesty she looked like a complete mess, it was obvious that she had been crying.
"Rue What's wrong?" I said pulling the girl into the house. She didn't say anything, she just stared down at the ground before pulling on her jacket. "Do you want anything to drink?" I asked her trying to change the topic. Rue nodded before making her way towards the kitchen. My house was pretty much Rues second home, she knew where everything was. I had known Rue since we were babies, I classed her as my best friend but I don't know if she classed me as that. I'm not sure if Rue really classed anyone like that till Jules came around. I followed Rue towards the kitchen, Rue sat at the counter while I grabbed two glasses and placed them on the counter.
"Is orange juice okay?" I asked her walking to the fridge and taking the juice out.
"Yeah" I turned round walking back to the counter. Rue had her head resting in her hand. I poured the drinks and handed Rue hers before putting the juice back in fridge. "So do you want anything else? We have ice cream" Rue just shrugged, I turned to the freezer and grabbed the ice cream with two spoons.

"So what do you want to talk about?" I took a spoonful of ice cream and placing it in my mouth.
"Jules..." Rue said taking a spoonful of the ice cream.
"What about her?" I looked at the girl, she was obviously struggling with something.
"I like her" she looked down messing with the spoon.
"You like her? Like more then a friend?" I asked her, Rue nodded her head. "Have you told her?"
"No, I mean I kissed her so I think she might know" Rue was still staring down at the counter.
"Okay, I think that it'd be best to talk to her and explain your feelings" I said taking another spoonful.
"I-I can't do that" you could hear the panic in her voice.
"It's okay Rue, no ones going to force you to do it" I walked over to her placing my hand on her shoulder.
"I know but what if she never wants to hang out with me because I kissed her" Rue went on her breathing speeding up.
"Rue, Rue listen to me" I placed my other hand on her shoulder turning her to face me. "Jules wouldn't do that, I don't know her like you do but she's not that type of person okay" I tried to calm her down before she had a full panic attack. Rue started to calm down. "Honestly Rue the best advice I can give you is to tell her, keeping your feelings in won't help" I brush a strand of hair from her face.
"Thank you y/n" Rue looked up at me with a weak smile.
"So do you want to stay over?" I asked her as I moved back resting against the counter.
"Sure. I'll just need to message my mom otherwise she'll lose it" Rue said pulling her phone out.
"Okay"
