Hadrian grinned as they stepped off the train and walked to the first year area a bearded giant-like person yelled about with Draco, Blaise, Goyle and Crabbe following them.
The boat ride was long as Hadrian sat in front of Draco, Blaise and some shy kid that Hadrian overheard lost their toad.
The boat ride was long and agonizing to Hadrian as the others scoffed or gasped in shock.
As they got to the castle the giant passed them to an individual, Professor McGonagall who went to sort a few things out.
Draco was about to approach the v-scarred young person from earlier but Hadrian stopped them by putting a hand on their shoulder, "The kid's spoilt with fame" Hadrian spoke quietly to Draco who nodded as Draak popper their head out of Hadrian's shirt.
They were let into the 'Great Hall' where a hat sung it's song.
After a while...
"Potter, Charles"
"GRYFFINDOR!"
Cheers came from Gryffindor as they yelled that they got Potter.
"Quinzel, Hadrian"
Hadrian walked up with a grin on their face, they heard curious whispers as they sat down on the stool and a hat placed on their head.
"Hello Hat, you want to wander yonder across my mind?" 'That would be ever helpful, Hadrian Quinzel'
Hadrian opened their mind to the hat who gasped in shock,
'Harry Potter? True young person who lived? Yet broken and insane...a shame that they did such things yet the villains pieced together as much as they could, how helpful. Thank you, Hadrian.'
"SLYTHERIN!"
Hadrian stood up gave the hat back, going to the Slytherin table with a grin that turned slightly psychotic.
"Hey Hadrian" a young person whispered, Hadrian tilted their head, "What's with the grin?" The young person asked, "What doesn't kill you makes you stranger" Hadrian quoted their tattoo, something their parent had said and something they took to heart, the people around them looked either weirded out or respectful.
"Hadrian" Draco spoke, Draak decided to slither from Hadrian's sleeve to Draco, causing some people to scream and some people to stare at the snake, "Enough, Draak." Hadrian ordered, aware of the shocked looks, "But snakelet!" Draak whined, "You shall see them later, stop causing such a scene" Hadrian giggled, the snake slithered back to them and back up their sleeve as many stated at the young Quinzel.
Hadrian giggled insanely and grinned widely, their blue bangs covering their toxic, killing-curse green eyes. "Speaker, have they noticed?" Draak asked as all attention went to a shaken yet determined and manipulative Dumbledor, "No Draak, none have noticed." Hadrian whispered to the snake.
