'I'm ready guys,Sue help fetch my bag, please?'I said.
Three friends were now rushing to go out shopping.

I Rendell Couper, as a seventeen-year-old, knew shopping was a natural aspect especially with
your friends, mine were the most rarest of friends, first off because they were one of the best group of dancers in the state of North Carolina and secondly they were identical twins. We are one of the strangest group of friends in the world but we still love
each other very much.

'Kk, '. She was the kindest of the two .She wouldn't dare say boo to a goose.
'So, are matters with Jake okay? 'enquired Sue. Who was obsessed about my love life with my boyfriend, Jake who was a high school senior, he always keeps a good average point and is very brilliant.  She is always butting in, trying to give me some sort of love advice, which is really irritating but I can live with it.

'Yes, I guess he's okay, '
'Not after that eye he gave you in the afternoon, noooo...., 'supplemented Julia.
'Guys we should all understand that I didn't intend to be late for that 'date' in fact, how was I supposed to know he wanted to ask me out 'officially', we are fine just the way it was,you know, keeping it simple'

'Girls, we are running late we should relax right now, it has been a long day, okay!!!, hmm, 'simple', I hear' shouted Sue.

'OMG! Girlfriends that was the best shopping I've ever had, 'I shouted.
'I know right, 'said Sue.
'So guys should I drop you off or what? '
'No, it's okay, you have already had enough drama for a day, just go home and get home sleep, '
'Thanks but we shall grab a cab, '
'Nighty night, 'I said.
             •                •              •
'Hi mum, '
'Rendell do you realize you missed family game night? '
'I am really sorry mum, '

My mom, Rielle Couper was a kind and loving woman. She almost raised me on her own because of all the business trips  my father was always on. Though she was a bit tough at times, she groomed me  into a respectful girl,  I believe, and all the times she yelled at me, I knew she did it for a reason.

'Good night, mum,'With a quick Carol Young - style hug and kiss. I went upstairs.
     'Good night dear, '

Feeling exhausted, I lay across the bed .Loneliness already creeping it's way into me,I decided to call Jake and talk throughout the night.
                     •            •         •
'Rendell, Rendell! Wake up and prepare, The Hills are coming over, 'mom called from downstairs.
'Okay, I'll be down in a minute, 'I groaned to myself and roll out of my comfortable bed.
               •           •         •

While I neatly tucked in the corners of my bed sheet into the headboard,  Knock! Knock!
'Come in Blake, 'I said.
'Hi Rendell, how are you doing, '
'I am fine, '
'I just came to ask you to hurry up, The Hills are 10mins away from 21 Street Avenue, '

You may all be wondering who this  is, he's Blake Couper, my only sibling, my only brother. Oh! I also forgot to mention, he works in the army and he  is older than me. Since he is in the army, he's so punctual and serious, I don't blame him that's what they are trained to do, aren't they? He's just one of a kind.
                            • • •
'Rendell, could you please come down,  they have arrived, 'shouted mum.
'Okay, you don't have to call me again, 'I said. The doors open downstairs, frantically the sound of her letting the guests in.
The Hills are our family friends. They are really a lovely family except for their father, Ben Hills who is a business rival with my dad, Joe Couper, I also know little about his son, Leins Hills, he has not been in N. Carolina recently, so I'd literally never met him. Tessa tells me his cute, smart and all, why does she know so much? She's a Hills, she's Leins' sister,  I met her two months ago, but I've been so tight with her ever since then . She is like a sister to me. Their mother, Martina Hills is also close to my mum, I sometimes suspect they are up to something destructive.
