Memories are strong,
But sometimes memories fade,
Sometimes, they just aren't meant to last,
Sometimes, we just can't allow ourselves to remember,
While others will do anything not to forget,
My friends are my family, they gave me memories to live for,
Other times I just wish to forget,
Maybe that's something I shouldn't think,
But I know I wouldn't do it, forget that is,
But something I will do is cherish the memories I want to last,
My memories aren't meant to last,
So I love, cherish, and remember them for as long as I can,
No reason to waste a chance at life, so, I won't,
Especially if I get a redo,
