(Michael's POV)
He left me. He called me a loser, and he left me. Wha- I didn't even-... What do I do now?
"Michael in the bathroom by himself. All by himself." I sang to my self softly. What can I do now? These Squip things are crazy! How can I help Jeremy. The back of my legs hit the rim of the bathtub. "Knock knock knock knock. They're gonna start to shout soon," My knees gave way and my whole body went limp. "Knock knock knock knock. Aw hell ya I'll be out soon." The knocks at the door are starting to get louder. I curl up in a ball in the bathtub. "Knock knock knock knock! It sucks he left me here alone!" My faint singing getting louder as the more tears spill down my face. "Knock knock knock knock! Here in this teenage battle zone!" The knocks at the door are starting to sound desperate. Pleading almost. The doorknob is jiggling rapidly. Right when I'm about to go into a full on panic/anxiety attack, the door swings open. I look up to see a gorgeous girl in a strange looking zombie costume. Upon further examination, it looks just like the zombies form Apocalypse of the Damned! That can't be right, she looks to gorgeous to not be a popular girl. She looks down at me with worry. "Are you okay?"**Earlier**
(Y/N POV)
Nobody quite knew what my costume was at this party. I'm not sure I even knew half the people here. This was frustrating. It was hot and crowded and smelly in here. The only issue is that Jake's house is so gigantic, I can't find my way to the front door. I'm trying to make my daring escape to the bathroom, when someone's arm wraps around my waist, and pulls me away.
Rich Goranski, pulls me down the hall. He looks really drunk, maybe like he's on the verge of throwing up. He's such a Light-weight (I would know). "What are you supposed to be?" He manages to spew out. "A zombie... from Apocalypse of..." "That's cool. Wanna go hang out in the spare bedroom?" He winked at me and grabbed my shoulder. He started pulling me away and I laughed awkwardly and pushed him away. He's stumbled backwards.
"What's your problem?!" He said. "Rich you're drunk." "So?!" Then he threw up in the corner. As he was storming off, he turned back around a yelled,"You wouldn't happen to have and Mountain Dew Red would you?!" I shook my head and fled to the bathroom, my one safe escape.
Ughh there's already someone in there, I mentally groaned. They better hurry. I could hear faint whimpering and sniffles. Ummm, are they okay? I heard soft singing on the other side of the door. "Michael in the bathroom by himself!" I sighed with remorse. I know that lonely feeling. As I was waiting I got more inappropriate touches and absurd conversation topics from guys. I was starting to panic. I started banging on the door, in almost a whispering pleading, "Let me in let me in please let me in!" I finally pulled out a Bobby pin and after a few minutes, finessed the lock, swinging the door open. He stares at me intensely, not saying anything. Then I see the tears. "Are you okay?" He still doesn't respond. "Hellooo?" He suddenly seems to snap out of it because his back straightens up and the corners of his mouth droop even lower. I stick my Bobby pin back in my hair and slam the door shut. As I sat next to him in the tub he started crying harder. I put a hand on his shoulder and he looked at me in the eyes. His teary, watery, chocolate brown eyes.(Michael's POV)
I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked into her eyes. They were the most beautiful shade of (e/c) I've ever seen. It's like I could read everything she wanted to say, and all the things she means in just her eyes. I wipe my eye with my sleeve and adjust my glasses. I'm about to introduce myself through wobbly sobs, when she pulls closer and hugs me. As her arms wraps around my torso, and she places her tiny little hand on my back, my face burns like the sun. I hug her back, letting a few more sobs loose from my lips. Then a couple more...? Wait that's not me. I push her away and look at her eyes. She's crying too. "What happened?" I ask her. "I should ask the same if you!" She laughs, a beautiful laugh. Even if it was just a awkward laugh. I sigh. "My best friend for 12 years, is in some kind of trouble, but he called me a loser and left me here by myself." She looks so sad. She embraces me once more and I can feel her grabbing my hoodie with her hand, sniffling. We sit on the edge of the tub now. "What happened to you?" I ask her. She laughs and rolls her eyes. "Ever heard of a dick magnet?" A-a what? I shake my head "no". She points across the room to the mirror. She's pointing at her reflection as she says," That right there. Apparently that's a dick magnet because that's all I've been able to do all night." A slightly chuckle, but a few more sobs escape her lips. I put a hand on her shoulder and squeeze it. "Whatever," she says. "Maybe their right. Maybe I'm just a slu..." "Hey! Don't say that. All those kids out there, are drunk as heck. They aren't going to remember any of this tomorrow."
She chuckles and holds out her hand. "(Y/N) (L/N)." Her smile is so simple and cute. It's like someone just told her something really funny and she's trying not to laugh. "Michael Mell." I shake her hand and laugh. I laughed again, how many drunk bozo teenage boys are out there? "Who hit on you exactly?" I ask her still smiling. She laughed again, with a quiet little snort which made me smile. "Rich Goranski at first, but then Jake Dillinger! Can you believe that!" She was still laughing, but my smile was no longer there. I thought it was bums out there or something, but Jake Dillinger!? Now I was mad.(Y/N POV)
... Can you believe that?!" I laugh. I look to Michael but he's not smiling anymore. "Jake... Dillinger?" He asks. I'm confused now. "Well yeah." MIchael got up, splashed some water in his face and adjusted his glasses. "Michael, what are you-" "I thought you meant random kids! Jake Dillinger?! Out there hitting in nice girls like you? I'm gonna kill him." My eyes widened to tea saucers. "Wait no! Michael it's-" He was already out the door. I got up and ran to the door frame. He was already running down the stairs. There was no use. I couldn't catch him. Ughh! Why can't I do anything right? This was my fault. I shouldn't have put myself 'out there' in the first place coming to a party like this.Wait... what's that noise?
