(I hope this is good. I made the flashback sequence the best I could for the sake of Gray and good writing. They still have their backstories. I hope you enjoy the rest. I'll wait longer to put more flashbacks or backstories or plotline [specifically the Phantom vs Fairy Tail thing] now. After this, they'll resume their regular activities.)
(Still Gray's POV)
"It's your fault Ur died, Gray!" Lyon yelled. "You need to pay for it!"
"And what will you do about it?" I sighed. "She's...dead..."
"Gray, what happened?" Lucy repeated.
"You'd never cause the death of someone!" Natsu protested.
"I...did...I know it's my fault she died...it's time I tell you guys..." I said, almost trailing off.
So I told them everything. How my parents were killed, how I ended up with Ur, and how she died because of my stupidity.
"So you admit that it's your fault?" asked Lyon.
"Lyon please calm down! I'm so sorry. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think of her and how I caused her death. But she's dead and we can't do anything..." I felt tears run down my face. "I always felt guilty. But she had said 'tell Lyon I'm sorry and that I love you both.' It was the only way to save both of us. Lyon, I get it. You haven't met people that can help you let go. Losing someone close to you can make your smile fade, but you have to move on. It's hard but you need to try. Nothing can bring her back. I'm trying..."
"Move on? But..."
"Listen, Lyon. You need to open up to people and make friends. That's how I let go. I met Natsu and Erza. Now Lucy. Look at Yuka and Sherry. They want to be your friends." I told him.
"I will always be with you, Lyon! For the sake of love!" Sherry exclaimed.
"See?"
"Fine, you win, Gray. But I don't think I'll ever be able to let go. I'll take your advice and see. If it doesn't work, I'll be back."
When they were finally away, I let out a sigh.
"Wow. You were holding that much pain inside, Gray?" asked Erza.
"Yes, but I have you guys to help me." I smiled.
