Chapter 9. Returning home

Been like 6 days on the ship. It was really slow. Half of the crew was sea sick, especially Gergely.

The sea though, it was beautiful. I stared at the sun going up and down many times, when I wasn't drunk after a party. The fishes all around the boat. We even passed a coral reef somewhere at Gibraltar. Even seen dolphins and a whale family.

Back when I was a young, I used to go fishing and scuba diving at (/CLASSIFIED/) and other places. I loved the ocean. I loved water in general.

I would say we were at the coasts of Sicily by the time when we got into a storm. We feared for our lives we don't end up like the American star. The rain just poured down on us like a waterfall, the lightning bolts scared the crap out of us, the waves got on board of the huge ship somehow.

"WE HAVE TO KEEP THE GOD DARN SAILS TIGHT!"

Alex yelled really loud in the whole storm.

"DAMN IT ALEX I'M TRYING TO SLEEP HERE!"

And he did wake up Creeper Pal too with the yelling. He nearly got hit by a rope in the face as he climbed out from the decks bellow.

We prayed once again to God to keep us safe. I'm sure the mast on front of the ship dipped in the huge waves. One of the crew members fell in the water. Thankfully we got him out with a rope. The top deck trapdoors mostly got broken, causing the hull to get filled with water. 2 out of the 6 pumps malfunctioned because of this leakage.

2 hours of Poseidon's wrath later we somehow got to the Adriatic sea. We felt the relief in all our bones.

"FULL SAILS NOW, WE ARE HEADING TO CROATIA!"

Alex did really well commanding the crew, they all cheered him, when we finally docked at Fiume's port.

We got ourself a helicopter, got on and said a "Cya later" to our strong ship from the helicopter in the clear blue sky.

We admired the beauty of Croatia and parts of Slovenia, we even seen some of the Alps. The destination was Hungary!

It was a decent journey. The landing was fine. We landed at Pécs I think? It was a really nice home sweet home feeling. Finally in the country, where I was born.

All of us were tired from the sailing, we went up to the "Hungarian Sea", the Balaton. As usual, Gergely got some cash, bought out this random vila at the Balaton from just the money in his pocket. The guy didn't even hesitate, when Gergely pulled out the cash.

Decent house, 4 bunkbeds, a huge kitchen, decent pool, but the garden though, that was amazing and large actually. EVEN HAD A HELIPAD, I KID YOU NOT.

Anyways, we grabbed some beer from a nearby store. Laid down at the beach part of the place, just enjoyed the sunset. Creeper Pal fell asleep and he woke up 150 meters away from the shore. We might have put him on a inflatable mattress. (Sorry Creeper, you probably would have did the same. But you gotta admit these are fun memories rite?)

Fine I admit, we might have been a bit too drunk and bored. Some partying and throwing up later we all woke up laying in the sand- except Alex who we found in a yacht parked at the shore, sleeping. One of those small sailing yachts, no idea where he got it.

Yup, the hangover part wasn't that good either. We went for a quick shower and pretty much fixed up ourselves after that night. Creeper Pal was really curious about the whole "how countries work" and "what is democracy".

Got the helicopter, some stuff from the house and we shown Creeper Pal Hungary. He fell in love, just like with our alcohol. The parliament was his favorite, Budapest is one great capital to have.

Gergely talked about "getting into the home country economy " or something. Really hard to remember these small details, they happened decades ago. So he convinced me to upgrade or buy the factories from this oligarch and get into the politics.

Our country had sooo many issues back then. The idiotic European Union caused havoc all over the place. Eventually we got our Party in the government, took us a few months, but people started to vote us in. Orbán's old campaign really failed against us.

Somehow the mobs found out about us and our country's location. They staged an attack on Romania from the Black sea.

We helped the Romanians, with this the whole hatred between Hungary and Romania lowered a bit at that time. We won obviously, imagine using cheap bows and fists against Leopard tanks.

That was one out of a whole lot of issues. The country needed a better economic system. Our company grew and grew as it improved it. Cheap products fast. More jobs and pretty much repainting every town Lime and White and cleaning off the smoke dust on every building from the past mistakes of using fossil fuel cars. We slowly got into the Scientific department of Hungary, making it world famous. The guys and myself got a lot of other companies from other places to improve the country too.

My support in the government grew and grew just as well. It wasn't really enough. We wanted to legalize genetically modified crops and medical ways, and other- Kind of NOT SO NICE IN THE SHORT TERM policies.

Some other idiots from other parties said no. I said "Screw democracy!" Then thats how the whole "Oh Lev is actually Hitler 2.0" started. Just by blocking the other idiotic parties. Taking full control of the ship called Hungary, on the waves of advancement.

I used a better system. Instead of random idiots, who didn't do shit for the country voting, I called in the mayors of bigger towns and each department with some advisors. It was more efficient and I almost had all power.

Eh, but I felt like the people need power too. So now instead of voting for parties or idiots who don't do anything, they vote with a "Yes/No" on policies using their devices which had like 100 security check to fight voter fraud. Really efficient and they always get the best from me in not so important manners. They are my people after all.

Hungary was small yet powerful then. I repaired the relationships with our neighbors, especially Croatia and Austria. I was the main guy in the media, I had a voice. And lots of hit pieces on me. This still wasn't enough. There were still people suffering. Yet I simply didn't have time nor resources.

I remembered about Orchid. I contacted them, then easily came to an agreement that they gonna be Hungary's first colony. They got us supplies and some products, we gave them people and tech. They eventually also switched their main language to Hungarian too, took a while actually.

Germany and France though, really didn't like how we were turning our economy to the level of China as a nation smaller, than theirs. That was a really big mistake from their part, also to the E. Union too.
