Well, she isn't too fond of Rose. If you notice, Priyanka is very cautious around the pinkette. Having Rose leave the room when she wanted to discuss matters with Steven, notice that she didn't ask to speak with Rose as well. She wouldn't trying to question Rose about the situation at hand, nor would she dare oppose her on the matter. With Steven, she knew that at least her words had weight to them, and would actually get through to the child. When Rose entered the room, Maheswaran did the subtle gesture of placing both hands over Steven's, and taking charge, in order to dismiss Rose from the room immediately. It could be that Priyanka doesn't like the fact Rose essentially abandoned her son, or maybe it's the fact she grown a bit attached to young man. But one thing is certain; she doesn't seems to enjoy Ms.Quartz and her company, and she has a lot of motives to justify why.
