Recap: Jay's POV
"Hey look at me," he tells me gently as if he was trying not to scare me. "Davie and I are here now, we are the parents so we can worry about her. Trust me, Davie does enough worrying, for all of us. So sit back, relax and enjoy being a kid okay?" He tells me I nod and then Davie comes to the car holding my sister.

Currently: Davie's POV
I climb up the ladder that was attached to the side of the house and walk along the flat roof, over to my kid. I sit down beside her and that's when I notice how skinny she really is. She wasn't a very healthy weight before she left us, (we were working on it) but now it's certainly gotten drastically worse.

Her knees are pressed into her ribs, with her head resting on her tightly squeezed knees and her arms wrap around her legs. She doesn't make any moves to acknowledge that she's noticed I've sat down.

"Hey Ollie, Gerardo and I came to take you home now okay? Jay is already in the car waiting for us. We can talk later if you want, but we need to talk sometime, are you ready to go home?" I ask her as I stand up and hold my hand out for her to take.

But when she doesn't take my hand, I crouch down in front of her and ask, "Do you want a piggy-back ride?" She nods after a moment to consider what she wants to do. So I crouch down and she climbs on to my back, wrapping her legs around my hips and her arms loosely around my neck. I carry her to the car, and I sit her down beside her sister and I buckle her in.

The ride home is filled with Jay talking and Gerardo making random jokes in Italian. It feels good to have our kids back, I think to myself as I take a quick glance in the mirror so I can see our two kids. As we approach home, Gerardo gets the kid's bags and Jay helps him since he's still on crutches. (Much to his dismay.) So I open Oliver's door and help her out of the car and without any warning I pick her up and carry her inside.

I put her down on the couch and call the mafia's doctor, telling him we'll be there in ten minutes with two kids who need medical attention. Then I tip the cops off on the abusive house and go sit back down with Jay, Oliver and Gerardo. "Alright guys, let's go see the doctor," I say as Jay gets up, followed by Gerardo and I just pick up Oliver.

"I hope I can get this leg jail off of my leg while I'm there!" Gerardo says as we get into the car. I look at him and give him that, 'really? Honest to god,' look. The twins laugh at that, well Jay does, and Oliver gives a tiny smile.

The drive there isn't long, maybe fifteen minutes, but when we get there Oliver seems to tense up and gets fidgety. We all get out of the car, Jay helping Gerardo by grabbing his crutches and they head into the hospital while I stay back with Oliver for a few minutes. "I hate hospitals, can't we do this later? Or better yet, never?" She asks me, starting to hyperventilate.

I pull her on to my lap and shield her eyes from seeing the mafia house, trying to calm her down. I rub her back and give her one of my hands to hold. "Nothing bad is going to happen in there, it'll just be a quick checkup. No therapists or anything like that, just an easy in and out okay?" I ask her as I gently rock her and rub her back. She nods and then gets out of the car and we head inside to the mini-hospital.

When we get in there, my husband is nowhere to be seen, I will kill him for leaving our kid in the hallway unsupervised later and Jay is sitting in the hallway waiting for us. When she sees us, she stands up and leads us into a checkup room.

"A doctor came by and asked me to come in here and wait for him while he grabbed some stuff." She tells us, I sit down, and Oliver sits down beside me.

The doctor comes back into the room and he gives me a polite nod as he goes over to Jay and starts up the normal checkup. "Okay, so Jay let's check your height, weight, heartbeat, and then your reflexes. Okay?" He tells her, she just smiles and nods at the man.
