I land two quick punches to his face. He quickly drops to the floor swinging his leg under my feet, knocking me on my back. I get back up. We circle each other. I grab a night lamp hauling it across the room toward his body. He barely dodges it. I kick at him, and he blocks it with his forearm. I kick with the opposite leg landing a blow to his stomach that sends him backward. He grabs my neck, slamming my back to the wall. I punch at his chest, gasping, as he lifts me off the floor.
"Stop it Heiress." He says firmly.
I grab his hair, pulling as I lock my legs around his waist. I snatch out a handful of his curls and he drops his grip on my neck, holding his head. I hug him tight only to stick my finger in one of his nail holes.
"HEIRESS STOP!" He shouts as he reaches for my hand.
He does an aerial flip causing me to lose my grip and hit my head when I land on the floor. As I am trying to shake off the daze, he straddles across me and pins my hands to the floor. I cry as I try to free myself.
"You're my next target you lying, deceitful, son of a-!"
He kisses me. I try to turn my head in opposition but after a few seconds I found myself kissing him back. When our lips part, I stare at him in confusion.
"Listen to me..." He slowly lets my hands go, rubbing the spot where I hit my head, and kissing it.
"I may not have told you everything, but I never lied to you. The day I met you, I was supposed to arrest you, on the spot. I just couldn't. I love you. That's a fact. No matter what happens, you are the only justice I need. I'm not your enemy, Heiress. You're my lottery ticket, and I came here to claim you. I just wish I knew about those extra security measures beforehand." He smiles.
I stare at him so long, unsure what to say. I watch the bruises form on his face from my punches, and I find myself kissing the cut on his lip.
"I'm sorry Heiress, I didn't mean to grab your neck like that."
He checks my neck for bruises and looks relieved to find none.
"No more secrets?" He asks extending his pinky finger to me.
I wrap my pinky finger around his. He nods helping me up.
"Promise filed."
My eyes widen.
That word...filed.
"You've been my FBI connection AGS this entire time?" I ask in shock.
He shrugged, "I told you we'd make a good duo. Alex Giovanni Sanchez at your service."
