Chapter THREE

Alpha Nathan's P. O. V

I was sitting now in my office together with my beta and gamma who also happens to be my childhood friends. We are discussing about some pack issues and business that really needs my attention that's when one of my patrol warrior who assigned in the entrance of this pack mindlinked me that my sister is here. I just give him a quick nod in my mindlinked. 

So I guess this is just for now men.  Tomorrow we will be having another discussion together with the elder regarding this issue.

Beta Jack I also want you to please double your assign patrol team in every borders on the pack. I told him. Beta Jack is also the son of my father's beta same as gamma Gavin.

And gamma Gavin I also want you to sent some trackers on the town to gather more information about these fucking hunters who keep on hunting us.  I know they will be going to make a better plan now since we already captured one of their men.  After saying that to him he vowed to me same as beta Jack.

It's also quiet funny that the three of us started the names on letter J.  That's why way back on our teenage days we are called as the "3J's" of our pack. The Eclipsemoon Pack.

Our pack is already composed and has a member of over two thousand members. We also has people assigned to live in different places so that in that way we can also protect the lands that belongs to us . Same as the other members of our pack live here. We are the biggest and strongest pack, from our ancestors up to now no one dares to declare war on us only those HUNTERS. They keep on chasing us, torturing us,  and killing us.  We didn't do anything to them but they really had these beliefs that only their kinds is allowed to live in this planet. Well,  they are actually wrong. They really don't have any idea how many of us exist.  Pathetic humans.

"We are here.. " I heard my sister's voice downstairs and a small voice that keeps on laughing . I smile. It's my niece.  And after relaxing myself for seconds I stand up from my leather chair and make my way downstairs. 

As I was in the hall way I can smell a fainted scent of fresh jasmine and roses.  Maybe it's Wena's new choice of perfume. I thought to myself. 

It's going to me fun here today.  Because she's here.

" Uncle Nathan..  " as I was in my last step in the stairs,  my eight years old niece shouting while running to me with open arms and as soon as I hold her I hugged her and I picked her up which she also enjoyed.  That's when I caught her scent.  The familiar scent I smell while making my way down here. 

"Did you put her some perfume Wena?  It doesn't suit her.  " I asked my sister as I also told her that her choice of perfume for Coleen is not suits in her age.  It's smell her just like a fully grown woman. 

"No I didn't.. 'as I was putting Coleen down the same scent was also pasted on my sister's scent and as I snifting more of their scent it shocked me.  No..  I mentally said to my self. 

No it can't be. My mate is already dead.  Why I was smelling a scent of a mate, a scent that is also different from Andrea, my dead mate.  But I know this scent, it might not be strong but I know the meaning of this scent.  Even my wolf Xander is now whimpering in the back of my mind. 

"It's mate..  " he said in the back of my mind. 

"I know.. but-how?  It can't be. " I told him. 

" Fuck off Nathan.. we both know that it's a mate scents." he said with a growl. I want my mate. Find her.  Let's go find here. " he insist. 

" No Xander, we cannot have another one after what happen to our mate .." I told him also with a growl. 

" You idiot.. " after he said that, then he cut-off our mindlinking.

I growl. 

"Who's with you before you came here?  I asked my sister with a growl. 

" No one Nate.  We came here directly when mom called me to came here today, why?  She replied and asked me confused of what was happening. 

" Your scent is different ..  you smells like --"  I didn't finished my sentence when she interrupt me.

"Well actually, we passed by the grocery store in town, so maybe I smell different probably because of the surroundings smell or someone who I bumped to---- " she didn't also finished what she's going to say when she her faced looked shocked and suddenly she covered her mouth and said.

"Me and Coleen met a nice girl in that she was the one who stayed with Coleen when I lost her. After that Coleen and I, hugged her tight for a thank you and then----.. " she was shocked again.

"Did I and Coleen smells like a mate's scent?  she asked me and I quickly .

"Oh my Gosh!  How is that possible?  I mean it's good for you since --" I didn't let her finish what she's going to tell me.  I just growled at her. 

"Don't you ever fucking say that again.." I command her in my alpha tone. 

"I'm sorry  Nate.. " she said and saying her goodbye and then go to the kitchen where the rest is.

No it shouldn't be. I cannot have one.  I don't need someone who'll I am going to lose again.  Not again please.  I  thought to myself while making my way out from the pack house and into the forest. 

A short run will help me I guess. 

And then I shifted into my big and pure black wolf.
