Eul dragged me over to the front door and she rang the door bell. My heart then started to get fast. I was scared that I might be in big trouble. My mom opened the door. "Butterscotch!" My mom Yelled as soon as she saw me. She pulled me into a tight hug and started to cry. "I thought I lost you!" She said sniffling. I hugged back with guilt. "Let's get you inside ok?" My mom said putting her hands on my cheeks while holding my face. She then looked over to Eul and Thanked her. "Thank you sweetie for finding my daughter.." My Mom thanked. Eul gave a nod and walked off the porch. "Bye Mrs Ji." Eul waved. "It's Ms now!" My mom laughed. I gave a look to my mom and raised a eyebrow. "What do you mean Ms?" I asked. "I signed the divorce papers" My mom Said giving a smile. I gave a look before she took me inside and that's where I saw my dad packing up his things. I raised my eyebrow and looked back to my mom. "Divorce Papers...?" I asked giving a look. No, that wasn't right. They were fighting earlier. She couldn't have made up her mind this early. Then, I realized what had happened. I took in a breath before running into my room. "Butterscotch! Where are you going?" My mom yelled as she started to run after me but she gave up quickly. I closed my door and held myself against the door. I felt like I couldn't move. They weren't lying. I breathed heavy breaths and backed off my door as I looked to window. The moon had been slightly gleaming out it. The wish had come true. I felt happy, but sad at the same time. I then heard a knock on the door. I turned to the door and opened it. It was Daeho. "Sae, you ok?" Daeho asked giving a doe eyed look. I gave a nod. "What are your thoughts?" I mumbled. "My thoughts?" Daeho asked. He thought for a moment. "I'm happy! I mean, our dad is finally leaving.." Daeho Smiled. I scanned his face before sighing. "It worked." I muttered. "What worked?" Daeho asked somehow hearing me. "Nothing." I Said giving a smile. "Sae.." Daeho mumbled. "Are you glad about this? You've been wanting this since their marriage got toxic." Daeho asked. "Yeah! Oh my gosh, I'm happy about it, of course." I responded. "I ran away this afternoon because of it." I said looking towards the window. Daeho nodded and gave a look to the window. "Seems to sudden doesn't it?" Daeho asked giving a confused look. I gave a look back to Daeho and nodded. "Yeah.." I mumbled. Daeho gave a laugh. "You know about the tree in the forest don't you?" Daeho asked all of a sudden. My eyes went wide. "What tree?!" I asked. "The one that sends you to Lavid." Daeho responded. 𝖫𝖺𝗏𝗂𝖽. "Whats Lavid?" I asked giving a look. "The town you went to. The one with the Magic Shop." Daeho said giving a smile. I scanned his face. "You know.." I mumbled.
