Chapter Twenty Five

You woke up the next morning on Tōshirō's chest. He was only in his boxers, and you were just in a big t-shirt.

"Morning sleepy head." Tōshirō whispered and kissed your forehead.

Last night was single handedly the best night of your life. And now you woke up next to him? Wow!

You and Tōshirō had breakfast and traveled back to the soul society.

Upon arriving, you separated your ways. You had so many unanswered questions and weren't sure how to feel.

Does this mean you're dating?

What are you guys?

Will he treat you the same in front of everyone?

After tidying up at home, you went over to find Rangiku. She was at the pub with Yumichika, and Ikkaku.

"Y/N!!" They all yelled in unison. Ikkaku was more serious than the other two, but he still showed interest.

You immediately made them swear to secrecy and told them all about your wild night.

"Wow! Who would have guessed... Tōshirō has a wild side!!" Yumichika seemed amazed and almost interested.

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Shunsui. You had chills even thinking of the night he tried to seduce you and take advantage of you. At the end though, you ended up in Tōshirō's arms, and that's all that matters.

"Y/N... I hope you realize a relationship between a captain and subordinate is forbidden by Head Captain Yamamoto...." Rangiku twiddled with her thumbs as she gave the bad news.

You felt your heart skip a beat. Maybe this is why sometimes Tōshirō seemed so hot and cold.

"You have to keep it a secret, that's all!" Yumichika chimed in, happier than ever.

That night, you went home and thought about it all.
You were officially closer to the man you loved and it was forbidden... why? Just why?
