After the show, Tōshirō told you he thought they were beautiful.

Everyone began to say their goodbyes soon after .

"Make sure we keep me and Renji a secret please. I don't want my brother killing him!" Rukia giggled while she walked away holding his hand. Renji waved you off.

Ikkaku and Yumichika headed back home, and Rangiku offered to travel home with you too.

"Actually, can she stay with me? There's a few things I'd like to show her." Tōshirō explained.

You felt your eyes bulge out of your head. Your heart was fluttering a million beats per hour. What could he want to show you in your own world?

After everyone left, Tōshirō remover his blue scarf and told you to remain calm. He proceeded to blindfold you.

"Why do I have to be blindfolded?" You inquired.

"Because it is a surprise!" Tōshirō laughed at your obvious despair.

Luckily, the smell of mint surrounded your nose and helped you remain calm. Tōshirō picked you up bridal style and began to flash step away.

"I can walk you know!" You protested.

"I like this better. And it's faster." He explained.

You decided to lay your head on his chest and just let it go. It's not like you could stop him. His minty aura comforted you immensely as you continued to travel.
Soon though, you smelt a few particular smells you didn't understand.

Blood.

Roses.

The Corner Market.

Winnie.

Home.

You immediately propelled yourself away from Tōshirō.

"Why are you bringing me here? It hurts too bad!" You were infuriated and couldn't stop shaking.

"Relax please. Just trust me." Tōshirō implored.

You were hyperventilating and beginning to surge out spirit energy. Tōshirō wrapped his arms around you and turned you around. He then tugged your blindfold off.  You slowly opened your eyes and you immediately gaped.

Your house was put back together, and it looked brand new. Rose bushes lined the outside. It looked just like how it used to look.

"When I left for a few days, it was to reconstruct your old house. I paid it off and had a team help me fix her up. I was hoping it would make you a little less sad." Tōshirō explained, slightly puffing his chest.

You barely let him finish as you tackled him with a hug and began to cry.

"This is the greatest gift anybody could give me Captain!" You held him tight and sobbed.

"Call me Tōshirō. And you're welcome."
