Where am I?  Firepaw thought. Darkness filled sky and ground, there was no grass or rocks visible.

"Firepaw? Where are we?" A kit meowed. He turned around. It was Bluekit. What was he doing here?

"Don't worry Bluekit. I'll get you home." Though he had no idea where he was going, his instinct was to go forward. After walking around for a while, he had heard a faint voice calling out.

"Bluekit? Where are you?" It was Windstar!

"Windstar! Where are you?" He called out. Slowly, he saw a faint white cat coming forward. As the cat came closer he had realised it was Windstar. He picked up Bluekit in his jaws and ran towards him.

         "You found Bluekit!" Windstar exclaimed.

         "Why is she here?"Firepaw asked.

"What's happening?" Bluekit meowed. She watched her fur glow. Once it faded down, her pelt had grey stars like Windstar's.

"She's dead." Windstar meowed."Dead cats don't just spawn in Starclan, Firestar. Starclan sends a cat to find them, and if not, their spirits are lost. Once they get in contact with a Starclan cat, they will turn into one.

          "How will you get back?"

"Starclan cats have a great memory. I will get her back. Thank you."

"Thank you for playing with me. Tell my mum not to grieve too much!" Bluekit squeaked.

"Good luck growing up in Starclan." He meowed and touched noses with him.

"You have completed your mission, Firestar." Windstar meowed. He nodded to them both and closed his eyes. He found himself in his nest. Uncurling he headed to peek into the nursery and saw the little body. He slowly padded to Featherwing and nudged her. Her eyes opened up and looked into his eyes for an explanation.

"Bluekit is dead." He meowed. He picked up the kit to let her see, and immediately grief filled his eyes and gave him a nod, following him outside. He gently placed the body at the side of the Skyrock and padded to Swiftstar's den.

"Swiftstar?" He whispered. Swiftstar woke up and uncurled.

"Come in. This better be good." He growled

"Blue-Blue-Bluekit is d-dead." Firepaw shuttered. Swftstar softened almost instantly and padded out to the Skyrock. Finding Lovepaw and Grasspelt approaching it as well, he didn't understand why. Did Starclan do this for him? He thought.

"Featherwing, go get Sharpstorm and Skycloud." Swiftstar meowed.

"I'll go get the apprentices." He meowed.

"Sure." He walked tail dropped and went over to fetch his friends.

"Dawnpaw, Sunpaw, Moonpaw?" He called. He waited for them to wake up and spoke "Bluekit's dead."

"Blue-Blue-Kit! Starclan! Why? She didn't deserve to die stupid Starclan!" Moonpaw yowled. There was silence in the den, and soon enough all of them were outside sitting vigil for the loss of Bluekit.

The night turned into morning, and Swiftstar had leapt up to Skyrock to announce the death of Bluekit.

"Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather around the Skyrock for a clan meeting!"

Cat gathered around, all with worried faces, hoping the dead body they saw wasn't real.

"As you can all see, there has been another death in our clan. May Bluekit find good hunting, swift running, and shelter wherever she sleeps." Swiftstar meowed. There was silence in the clan. How could Starclan take such a young, sweet kit?

"Elders, please take Bluekit for burial, we will continue this day as normal. Firepaw comes to my den. Clan dismissed." Firepaw knew this day wouldn't be normal, as sad faces grew in the clan. He felt devastated in this world.

Hello! Sorry, no post for like what? A few months? I have had no time at all to write, being all over the place and setting into a new home. I PROMISE that I won't ever do that again (well I'll try) and please share this story with others. Thanks! May Starclan light your path!
