"Perfect." Honeyfrost purred as she looked over her organization. While Pebblestep was out collecting herbs with Yarrowtail she had decided to completely reorganize the herb store. She thought it looked great and hoped Pebblestep would think the same. Instead of organizing them by leaves and berries, she organized them by their uses. She had herbs for stopping infection bundled together near herbs to stop bleeding and so on. She purred happily as she turned away.

As a medicine cat with not a lot to do, all she really could do was keep things organized around the medicine cat den, but she loved doing it. Honeyfrost made some final touches on her new herb store when Pebblestep stepped inside with a jaw full of herbs, Yarrowtail stepped in beside her with even more herbs.

"Welcome back." Honeyfrost purred and padded over to take some of the herbs from Yarrowtail. "I organized the herb store again, I think it looks much better now."

Pebblestep set down her bundle of herbs and looked at their store. "I like how you organized them by usage, it looks very neat. Good job, Honeyfrost." Pebblestep praised, Honeyfrost couldn't help but purr.

"So this is what medicine cats do in their spare time?" Yarrowtail chuckled. "How many times have you organized this den, Honeyfrost?"

Honeyfrost shrugged. "Too many to count, I'd rather be organizing than treating wounds. It means that the forest is at peace, at least for now." Honeyfrost thought of Echoheart for a brief moment.

"Exactly." Pebblestep mewed, setting her herbs down in accordance with Honeyfrost's new system. "We have to keep things in order for when things go wrong." Pebblestep looked at her brother. "Now go put those claws to use." She purred. Yarrowtail rolled his eyes playfully and turned to leave the den. "Warriors won't ever understand what we do." Pebblestep mewed with a laugh lining her mew.

"No kidding." Honeyfrost flicked her tail.

As Pebblestep opened her mouth to respond, another voice spoke in her place. "Pebblestep! Honeyfrost!" Honeyfrost instantly recognized the voice of Turtleblaze. Both medicine cats were on their paws and rushed out of their den to meet with Turtleblaze. The usually relaxed and calm warrior had a look of pure exhilaration and fear in his eyes. "Fawnheart is kitting!"

Pebblestep gave the top a tiny nod. "Go wait with her, we will be there in a few moments." Turtleblaze nodded and quickly turned on his paws, racing back to the nursery. Pebblestep looked at Honeyfrost. "Go get the herbs we need and meet me there." She ordered. "And prepare yourself, last time I helped Fawnheart give birth she nearly took my nose off." Pebblestep laughed but Honeyfrost couldn't help but think she was being partially serious.

Honeyfrost didn't stop to talk, instead she turned and quickly padded back into the medicine cat den where she had already organized the herbs using for kitting queens. She quickly grabbed raspberry leaves, ragwort, borage and a thick stick for the queen and carried the herbs across camp.

"Honeyfrost?" She was spotted by Earthpelt. "Is that for Fawnheart? Is she kitting?" She spoke with excitement for her mother. Honeyfrost couldn't really stop to talk so she just gave a nod and reached the nursery.

Inside seemed like a battlefield, Fawnheart was hissing at every single cat she made eye contact with, including Turtleblaze, Pebblestep and Heatherflight. Upon stepping into the nursery Honeyfrost was met with the deadly glare of Fawnheart, it was honestly one of the most terrifying things she had seen.

"Herbs!" Fawnheart spat, clearly in a lot of pain. Wincing at the shouting, Honeyfrost set down the ragwort and stick and stepped backwards while Pebblestep got to work on her belly.

Honeyfrost couldn't help but feel that this would be a very long kitting session. They did their best to fix Fawnheart's pain, but the medicine cats could only do so much. "Hey, Heather--" Honeyfrost looked up as Flashtail approached the nursery.
