he's really shy at first - he isn't really used to being affectionate with people, so it's foreign ground for him.
very attentive - he makes sure that you're always feeling good and that nothing is bothering you, and whenever something is he's always an open ear and gives you the best advice he can.
he enjoys those late nights where the two of you review recent findings outside of the wall together, and he loves telling you stories about the ocean and what else might be beyond the walls as you fall asleep on his shoulder.
he wants nothing more than to see the ocean with you and possibly everything beyond it too - sometimes he tells you about his dreams of exploring the world with you.
after an expedition he always makes it his first task to go and make sure that you're ok, and he always tends to your injuries if you have any.

still flirts with a lot, but it's awkward flirting and the other guys make fun of him a lot, although honestly he could care less at times, because your smile is worth the embarrassment.

he's a huge worrier and after an expedition he's running around looking for you, and if you're in the same squad he always has one eye on you.
probably dreams about marry you a lot and life after the military - definitely has everything planned out to the very last detail - don't tell his mother that though.
