Anastasja died giving birth to her daughter, so she was raised by her father and Hydra. Marcus loved his daughter very much, but when the other Hydra leaders thought, she would be the perfect peace offering and gave her to the RedRoom at the age of five. There she was trained not only in Martial Arts, Weapons, Lying, acting, dancing and killing but also in her powers she got since birth due to the injections. She was very talented and she committed her firs assassination at the age of 10. In the following years she made herself a name by eliminating Hydras and KGB enemy's. This also brought her on SHIELDs Rader, although nobody knows her identity, age or face.When she graduated from the Redroom she was send back to Hydra. Reuniting with her father, which she is loyal to.

On one of her missions she was send to steal some Wakanda tech. There she met SHuri and although it wasn't the best circummstands she and shuri became friends. Shuri taught her how o be at least a little bit like a normal teenager, and Lyra taught her how to fight. It was a secret friendship.
