Love And Arranged To Meet

Chapter 1

The news had spread around the colony that a proposal for Naina had come. She really did not want to get married at first but agreed because of her parents insistance. She was still in college doing her last year, it was really important to her. Her sister Preeti and her best friend Swati were helping her to get changed whilst her family were doing the arrangements.

Naina: Seriously I'm not in the mood to do all of this, I rather get rejected from him.

Swati: Naina don't say that atleast give him a chance, we don't know anything about him.

Preeti: All I know is that his name is Sameer Maheswari, and he goes to our college.

Munna and Pandit were making sure that Sameer looks handsome. He is very happy that he gets to see Naina as his future wife because he always had a crush on her which changed into love. They all came downstairs and are ready to go with the shagun.

Vishaka: Mere beta bahaut handsome lagraha hai.

Munna: Hamara bhai hero hai aur handsomeness naturally aati hai.

They sit in the car and arrive outside of the colony where Anand and Rakesh are waiting for them. They bring them inside and they sit down just looking at the arrangements. Preeti walks past them not knowing that she is Naina's sister. She goes inside and tells Naina that they are here.

Preeti: Wo log agaye hai aur Naina be calm

Chachiji and her mother comes inside and puts a kaala teeka behind her ear. She tells them all to bring Naina out in 5 minutes. They finally come out and Sameer becomes mesmorised just by looking at her. She holds on to a tray with cups filled with tea and gives it to them whilst Sameer caresses her finger. She closes her eyes and sits down between her parents. Vishaka and Bobby start to ask her questions

Vishaka: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Naina: Focus on my studies, hang out with my friends and I'm fond in cooking and baking.

Bobby: Would you give up on your studies after marriage?

Naina: No I wouldn't and my hard work for education would have gone to waste, I love my family but I want to be something after that.

She answers all thier questions according to what she thinks about everything and they are impressed with her. Naina's parents also do the same with Sameer and are happy about it. Bobby tells them both to talk to each other alone, and she brings him into her room closing the door.

Naina: Sameer mein shaddhi kay liye tayyar nahi hoon, yeh sab issiliye karahe hoon kyunki mere parents chate hai warna yeh sab mein nahi karna chathi thi. Sameer tum muhjse shaddhi kyun karne chate ho, mein toh ek nerd hoon, mein tumhari standard nahi hoon aur tum bahaut popular ho, please just reject me?

Sameer: Kyunki mein tumse pyaar karta hoon. Tum simple lardki ho, and your not like the other girls in college. Pehli baar jo maine tumhe dehka tha library mein toh yeh sab feelings aane lage aur dheere dheere pyaar mein badal gaya. Par agar mein naa bola sab kay samne toh tumhare parents ka dil toot jaygha. Mein jaanta hoon ki tum muhjse pyaar nahi karti ho and I know the reason to it. Sab tumhare mazaak urate hai par mein aise hone nahi doonga.

Naina: Kitni taqleef hoti hai yeh sirf mein samajthi hoon, koi parwah nahi karta hai, mein issiliye chup hoti hoon kyunki I don't want to be like them, that does not mean anyone can tease me for my silence issiliye mein nafrat karti hoon popular log say. Samaj they kya hai apne aap ko ki tum ameer family say ho toh tum kuch bhi karsakte ho muhjhe paane kay liye, mein ek middle class family say belong karti hoon and the way we live is completely different to yours!

Naina takes her anger out on Sameer and realises what she has said, she has kept this buried for a long time, and has openly spoke about it in front of him. He makes her sit down and gives her a glass of water and she drinks it. Sameer tells her that he does not mind what she thinks about him.

Naina: Tumhe bura nahi lagega?

Sameer: Nahi jab tum gussa karti ho tum aur khoobsurat lagti ho aur tumhari gaal laal ho jaati hai, ab smile karo mere liye, toh tumhara faisla kya hai?

Naina decides to tease him...

Naina: Mein tumhare saat shaddhi nahi karoongi.

Sameer is about to walk out when Naina comes in front of him, she tells him that she was joking, and he rolls her eyes at her.

Naina: Sorry Sameer par masti toh hona chaheye, mein shaddhi kay liye tayyar hoon

He smiles at her and they both come out again. Both of the families want to know what thier final decision is.

Rama: Tumhara kya jawaab hai Naina?

Naina: Haa mein shaddhi kay liye tayyar hoon

Vishaka: Aur tumhara kya jawaab hai Sameer?

Sameer: Meri toh pehle say haa hai

Preeti+Swati+Munna+Pandit: Congratulations

Everyone hugs one another and they feed each other sweets. Naina can't believe that she is getting married now.

Bobby: Toh hum apne pandit say baat karenge sagai ki date kab fix hogi.

Bela: Aur hum abhi Naina ka kundli daydange

Bela goes and gets Naina's kundli and gives it to vishaka before they leave. She changes into her pyjamas, and both of the sisters talk all night like always.
