Chapter 46

It has become dark and Kiara is sweating as she is experiencing a nightmare. She suddenly wakes up and starts breathing heavily. Kiara stands up and washes her face with cold water and comes downstairs. This normally happens 3 times a week. She sits down outside just staring at the flowers when someone taps her on the shoulder and Sameer sits down next to her.

Sameer: Kiara what happened to you, why are you sitting out here?

Kiara: I don't need to give you an explanation, I've been doing this for some time now, but for you it's all new. Stop worrying about me please.

Kiara takes a ciggerrate out, lights it up and places it in between her mouth to calm her nerves down. Sameer wants to ask a question but he is hesitant.

Sameer: When did you start smoking?

Kiara: A month later when I was in America at a club. I was doing a mission at that time, out of peer pressure I started doing it, and I knew I wasn't hanging out with the right people. I had to act that way, some of the jobs that I did were nasty but I had to do it to catch them out and singing was just to make them fall into my trap. But I love singing overall it gives me peace.

An emergency phone number shines through and Kiara picks it up. The officer tells her a person has planted a bomb, and they need her help. She tells them that she is coming as she has some training on how to diffuse bombs.

Kiara: Sameer you need to stay here I need to go and do my duty. I don't know when I will come back.

She goes upstairs and puts her police uniform on carrying her gun with her. Jason and Amy are not here as they are handling another a case. She sits down in her jeep and turns the alarm on leaving the mansion. Sameer knows that she will return but stays inside whilst she arrives at the location where the bomb squad are.

Kiara: What kind of a bomb is it?

Bomb Squad: It has a deadly virus and we need high tempreture.

She knows a place where they can find one. Kiara tells them and they drive in a very high speed  stopping the car at the right place. He tells her that there are only 12 seconds left. Both of them quickly get out of the jeep, she shoots it and it blows up into flames tumbling them on to the ground making them unconsious.

6 Hours Later

The Forensic Doctor is checking on them wearing a bomb suit whilst Jason, Amy, Steve and Sameer are waiting to see what she says about them both. Sameer starts praying to god to save them both. The doctor comes out telling them that they are both strong and stubborn officers. Kiara wakes up after two hours, and they all come inside to see her. Her dad kisses her on the forehead.

Jason: I thought I was going to lose you, when we found out about it we came here as soon as possible. Actually Sameer called us to let us know about this accident.

Kiara: Thank you Sameer

Kiara stands up with the help of Sameer and she starts walking out of the building until the media shows up. They quickly run into the car and leave from there. Her dad is driving whilst the others are laughing.

Amy: This is what we have to do all the time make a escape from the media and this time your here as well.

Kiara: Dad stop the car here I need to meet someone

Steve: Who is it this time?

Kiara: He is just a friend seriously why do I have to tell you all everything?

The car stops and she gets out. The others leave from there. She sees a park and sits down on a bench waiting for Raj to come. He comes with a bunch of roses for her, and she gladly accepts it.

Kiara: These are so beautiful

Raj: Not more beautiful than you are

Kiara: I want to be honest with you. I was married before but my husband the Sameer Maheswari divorced me. You know everything about me, my life is like an open book. I don't know what people think about me.

Raj: It's alright Kiara, life is always complicated but give it another chance. I know who you really are, but you don't want to show it to anyone as others have done a lot to you. I know that you don't believe in trust anymore. But for how long will you hide yourself, and what kind of a punishment  are you putting yourself through? You can't lead a life like that, before you became Kaira McCaan how was your life like?

Kiara: It was easy going, atleast I never had this kind of fame, money and luxirious life. It was normal and I knew the importance of relationships. I loved Sameer so much and now all of this happened which changed everything for me.

Raj: I bet he is regretting all of this now and wants your forgiveness. You know whoever forgives first they have a pure and clean heart.

Kiara: Dude your a lifesaver, you made me open my eyes again
