“But, promise me that we’ll switch places at the end.” I told Isabelle. “Of course, but the spell has a limit of 48 hours. After that, the other side will collapse if I don’t go back.” She said nervously. “Collapse? What will happen?” I asked with curiosity. “Everyone and everything in the other side will be gone, forever.” She said seriously. “I need time to think about this, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” I told Isabelle, and threw the Planchette on my bed.
That night, I couldn’t sleep. The only thing I kept thinking about was Isabelle’s offer. She’s my sister, and she needs my help, and I know that she would do the same thing if she was in my shoes.
The next morning, I was woken up by the sound of Rebecca’s knocking at my door. I finally opened the door to face a really concerned Rebecca. She kept asking me questions of what happened at dinner last night, but I just told her that I wasn’t feeling very well.
“I’m heading over to Edwin’s place, if you’d like to come over.” She said in soft tone. “Yeah, I’ll think about it.” I replied, and with that she left.
I grabbed the board from under my bed to get the Planchette. I scanned my bedroom and found Isabelle and an elderly stranger sitting on my bed. “I agree,” I said, wasting no time. They both gave me a smile before the witch stood up and said a chant that we had to repeat after her.
After that, I was in a dark place. This must be the other side. It was a mysterious dimension that included the spirits of dead beings. I have less than forty eight hours before all of this collapses. Later on, I met the same witch from earlier and she did a little ritual to find out if Rebecca really killed Isabelle.
