you're anxious

You felt so overwhelmed with everything that's been going on lately. The rumors were cruel and it was as though they wouldn't end. They just kept spreading like wildfire and you tried so hard to ignore them but it was all just so overwhelming and you felt like you couldn't breathe.

You threw your phone on the ground and sunk to the floor, trying to catch your breath but it felt as though you couldn't breathe at all. Bella walked inside the living room and saw you on the floor. She instantly ran to you and put her hands on your back. "y/n? You okay?"

You shook your head. It was too hard to breathe, too hard to talk, and you just had this overwhelming fear that something bad was gonna happen. "Something's wrong" you mumbled and Bella pulled you in her arms. You tucked your face in the crook of her neck. Your tears hitting her skin as they fell from your eyes. "Nothing's wrong, baby, I promise. Everything will be okay. I won't let anything happen to you. You're safe with me, i've got you."

She rubbed your back and coaxed you into taking some deep breaths. You kept crying, feeling so overwhelmed until the anxiety attack started to pass. Bella kept rubbing your back and pressing kisses to your shoulder. She would whisper words of comfort in your ear and she kept reminding you that everything would be okay.

When it finally passed over you all but collapsed into her, your grip loosening and you felt exhausted. "You okay baby?" You shrugged your shoulders. You felt less anxious now but you were exhausted. "C'mon, let's get you on the couch. It'll be okay." You stood on your shaky legs as Bella guided you to the couch that wasn't very far away. She laid down behind you and wrapped her arms around your stomach, pressing her lips to your neck. "Try to rest."

You closed your eyes as her fingertips ran over your skin soothingly. You fell asleep in Bella's arms as she held you. She'd never let you go through anything alone.
