3|GODSON

Lillian quickly entered the small room Eren was taken into by the Commander of the Scout Regiment, looking down as everyones gaze moved to her.

"Lillian." Erwin greeted her, stepping closer to her. "It is good to see you."

"You too, big brother." She wrapped her arms around his waist and embraced him, missing him due to their long period apart.

"Lilly!" Hanje ran over and jumped into the woman's open arms. The two giggled to each other as they joked around.

"Lils." Levi nodded his head in acknowledgement as he stayed leaning against the far wall. Lillian returned the gesture with a small smile before turning her attention to the wide eyed boy staring at her with shock.

"Hello Eren, how is my favourite Godson." This statement surprised everyone in the room. Eren flushed under her intense stare and scratch the back of his neck.

"Not good."

"Don't worry, I'll look after you." She reassured him. She gracefully sat close beside him, her eyes scanning over his body looking for wounds.

"Well, that went better than I expected." Hanje spoke up, passing Lillian some tweezers and a cotton ball to use for Erens face injuries. "Does it hurt?"

"A little." He hissed slightly as the alcohol hit a wound.

"So, how exactly does it hurt?" Hanje asked excitedly, crouching down before the brunette man. Lillian chuckled to herself at the scientists question, rolling her eyes slightly.

"Huh?"

"I'm sorry about that." Erwin apologised, watching Eren closely as he walked closer. "But it did get you placed in our custody."

"Yes."

"The pain was worth it." The older man informed him. "It let us play our trump card when it would be most effective." Erwin crouched in front of Eren and placed his hand out. "You have my admiration. Eren, I look forward to working with you."

"R-right! Thank you, sir!" Eren placed his hand into the Commanders and eagerly shook it, a slight blush dusting his cheeks.

"Tell me, Eren." Levi stated, sitting down beside Lillian causing her to still. She dropped her hands on to her lap and looked down, a strange feeling washing over her at the close proximity. "Do you resent me?"

"No!" Eren stuttered. "I understand it was a necessary performance."

"Good, then."

"Still, you didn't have to go so far." Lillian glanced at the ebony haired man. "You knocked his tooth out!"

"Look!" Hanje suddenly pulled the tooth from her pocket causing everyone to freeze up in disgust.

"Don't pick that up. It's disgusting." Levi scoffed with disgust, grimacing away from Hanjes hand. He then diverted his attention to the small female beside him and lowered his voice. "I haven't seen you in days and you're avoiding looking at me."

"Well it is your mess I'm having to clean up." Lillian joked, moving her hand on to his lap and grabbing his hand.

"It's actually this brats fault." He gestured to the beat up boy.

"You'll get used to the constant flirting with these two." Hanje laughed, patting Erens shoulder.

"Married couples tend to flirt, it's very normal." Lilly winked at the brunette woman before directing her attention at the silent boy. "Welcome to the Scout Regiment, you're going to love everyone!"

"Thank you." Eren nodded slowly, looking around the room at all the superiors.

"Eren. Be thankful you aren't being dissected by people like her." Levi stated, staring at the crazy woman admiring the bloody tooth.

"Don't compare me with them." Hanje replied with disgust, hating the Military Police for their pigish ways. "I would never kill Eren. Hey, Eren. Let me see inside your mouth."

"Hanje, that's too far." Lillian scrunched up her nose. Eren happily complied for the brunette woman and opened his mouth causing Hanje to move back in surprise.

"The tooth has already grown back." She said slowly, trying to get the words out through her shock.

"That can't be." Lilly moved the woman aside to stare into the boys mouth and her face mirrored Hanje's. "That's impossible! I spent years studying medicine and how the human body works, teeth dont just grow back in minutes."

"Looks like those years were wasted on useless information." Levi joked, smirking when his wife slapped his leg in annoyance.

"Next time you hurt yourself I'm leaving you for the birds." She grumbled, pouting as she sat back down on the sofa but leaving a large space between her and her husband.

"Looks like you're sleeping in your office tonight." Erwin laughed, patting his sisters head as she went to leave the room.

"I'll be packing my bags if you need me." Lilly huffed as she exited the room, ignoring all the eyes on her.
