Betrayal

Chapter VII

"Shinra Tensei!" Naruto raised his hand and pushed back a blunt kunai that was thrown at him. He's been training for a week so far and he's only mastered Shinra Tensei and Bansho Ten'in.

So far, his hatred for Konoha has gotten even stronger since Madara died. Because of Konoha my Sharingan was awakened.. because of Konoha I've been sent down the path of hatred. Naruto thought, he kept pulling and repelling different sized objects.

Black Zetsu rose from the ground, "Naruto, you must retrieve the eyes from the last Uchiha, Sasuke."

Naruto looked at Black Zetsu. Sasuke huh.. it will be fun paying him a visit. Naruto nodded.  Naruto gathered his tools and such and then Black Zetsu transported him to the Wave Village.

"...back, this shinobi outclasses you guys." Naruto heard Kakashi's voice.

No point in waiting for this battle to be over.. I'll take the sword-guy's side. Naruto jumped into view.

He saw a Fūma shuriken flying towards Zabuza. Zabuza dodged and a kunai went flying at his shoulder from where the Fūma shuriken was.

"Bansho Ten'in!" Naruto put his hand out and pulled the kunai towards himself.

"N-Naruto?!" Kakashi said in absolute disbelief. "What did that black thing do to you?"

Naruto didn't even spare Kakashi a glance. "Sword-guy, do you want to team up? I need that Uchiha." He asked.

Zabuza nodded.

Naruto ran towards Sasuke, Sakura, and Sai. Kakashi got in-between him and his Genin.

"Naruto, please, don't hurt the people from your village. Think about this. come back with us." Kakashi pleaded.

Naruto smiled and held his hand out. Kakashi smiled back and went for his hand.

Kakashi was not expecting Naruto to begin strangling him. "You should've tried to keep me in the village earlier. It's too late now."

Naruto was suddenly knocked back by one of Sai's drawings.

"You will not compromise this mission." Sai said, with his face as blank as usual.

"Oh, I won't? Who will stop me? Kakashi? Zabuza?" Naruto said with so much confidence you could almost consider it as arrogance.

"All four of us will!" Sakura said, she went into a battle stance. She looked ready to fight until she made the mistake of blinking.

Naruto was in front of Sakura, a fist was going for her face. It was stopped by Kakashi, however.

"I won't let you hurt my comrades, Naruto." Kakashi said.

Naruto smirked. "You've broken that promise twice already. You couldn't save Rin or Obito. Some comrade you are."

Kakashi became distracted by his comment as he frowned. Naruto took advantage of his lapse in judgement and kicked him in the chest. He was knocked into a tree. A barrage of kunai came towards Kakashi.

Sasuke came in and stopped the kunai. "You.. I don't know why you're doing this, or why you want to capture m-" Sasuke was interrupted with a fierce punch Naruto gave to his jaw.

I didn't even see him move. Sasuke stepped back.

"Stop resisting and let me just take your Sharingan already." Naruto said with irritation. He tried to run forward to attack Sasuke again but he was stopped by someone holding his ankle. He narrowly avoided a kunai that would've severed his Achilles tendon.

"Naruto, please stop." Kakashi begged. He made the mistake of looking Naruto in the eye.

"Sleep." Naruto activated his Mangekyō and knocked Kakashi out. He walked towards him. "I oughta take Obito's eye back, huh." He gouged Kakashi's Sharingan out and put it in a canister.

Sasuke snarled, "YOU.." He ran towards Naruto and attempted to punch him in this face. Naruto laughed and grabbed Sasuke by the neck. He took Sasuke's eyes. "These are mine." He said. He stored them in a canister.

"Looks like I'm done here. I'll see you lat-" Naruto was stopped by Zabuza.

"You brat.. you've ruined my mission. I'll kill you." Zabuza seethed.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.

Zabuza pointed to the retreating form of the bridge builder they were guarding.

"Oh well.." Naruto shrugged. He walked around Zabuza, but was stopped by him again.

Zabuza made a vertical slash toward Naruto. Naruto dodged with ease and stepped back.

"Oh, you want to fight?" Naruto asked. He slid into a fighting stance.

"Let's fight then."
