Sleepover - A Sophitz Story

Chapter 1

This is my first fanfiction (I tried a few times, but they were horrible 😉)

'Only one more class until we finally have a weeklong break from school!' Sophie thought as she went to her locker. Sophie was so excited, until she realized that her last class was telepathy. Tiergan had set for Sophie and Fitz to take the cognate test during school on the Monday that they got back to Foxfire. That meant that Sophie would have to tell Fitz her biggest secret today! She sat down in her He asked them, "Are you both ready to share your biggest secrets yet?" Sophie said no, and was surprised when Fitz also said no, since she didn't know he had a big secret also. Tiergan replied, "Well, you have to share your secrets before your cognate test, which is in 9 days, so you can either share them now or during the break." Sophie and Fitz both agreed to share their secrets during the break, so Tiergan told them that they could just talk for the rest of the class. Fitz said, "Oh! I just remembered that Biana asked me to tell you that we are having a sleepover at Everglen for the first three days of the break. Do you think Grady and Edaline will let you come?" "I'm not sure," Sophie replied, "Is it ok if I go to Havenfield to ask them, and then I'll call you or Biana to tell you?" "Okay, that sounds good." They talked until the bell rang, when they both left to go get their stuff and go to the Leapmaster to go back to their houses. "Havenfield," Sophie called, as she stepped into the light. When she got there, Grady was feeding Verdi, who was refusing to eat the food she was being given. Sophie greeted Grady, and calmed Verdi by transmitting images of her eating the food and enjoying it. She went inside and saw Edaline in the kitchen. "Hi, Edaline," she said. "How was school?" "It was good." "So, I figured you would want to hang out with some of your friends, since you have a break. What were you planning on doing?" "Actually," she said, "Fitz and Biana invited me to a sleepover for the whole week at Everglen. Do you think I can go?" Edaline agreed to let Sophie go. Sophie went up to her room, and said to her Imparter, "Show me Fitz Vacker." She told him that Edaline said it was OK for her to go. Sophie excitedly packed her bags, with clothes and a few things she would need. She didn't bring anything fancy, since she was sure Biana would beg to give Sophie a makeover. She also didn't pack any makeup, for the same reason, and that she didn't have very much. She quickly changed into a cute top and leggings, since she wasn't going to go to a sleepover with her best friends in her school uniform. She got her bag, and headed downstairs to say bye to Grady and Edaline, before going the the Leapmaster.
