My Alpha Prince (Karmagisa omegaverse au)

Chapter Six

Glancing next to me, Karma is looking around at everything as if he's never been outside before. I chuckle with a small smirk on.

"Race ya!" He looks at me as I urge the horse forward, going a whole lot faster. After a minute, he catches up with me as we both laugh.

He begins to slow down, and I realize we're at that one valley next to a mountain that I always used to train at as a kid. I lived in the forest next to the capital, but I was never allowed outside of it.

This is that forest.

I turn my horse off of the trail and race off onto a different trail. The opposite way of my old home.

Karma chases after me, and I smile at him. Before we can continue, he points something out. "Hey, I think someone lives the other way. I saw a nice house, wanna go check it out?" I look back to him with a small but nervous smile.

He's my alpha. Besides, it's not like I got raped here, nothing bad will come out of visiting my abandoned childhood home. My parents are dead, anyways.

Nodding slightly, I turn back and we ride towards my old mansion.

"Nagisa.... did you live here?" He asks as we ride into the front yard of the mansion. Nodding slowly, I dismount my horse.

"I was never allowed to leave, so I completely forgot how close I lived to the capital." I explain as I try to open the door, but it's locked. I step back and kick the door open, busting the rusty hinges.

Overall, everything looks in tact. There's some rodents scurrying around, but I continue into the library. I used to spend every night here.

My favorite blankets and pillows are still here, from before I was taken away. "If I remember correctly, I was taken by assassins and sold to the Asano kingdom." I say as I take a book off the floor. It's one of the books my mom gave me, about Omegas and some secrets only few know about Omegas.

"Why is an Omega on the throne?" He looks at a picture of an Omegan woman who was a queen hundreds of years ago.

"Omegas were originally the royals hundreds of years ago. It ended when the Alpha prince betrayed his mother and killed her. That was the end of the Omegan empire, and any Alpha that was found was put on the throne of different kingdoms. His reasoning was that Omegas needs Alphas, so Alphas should be the ones on the throne instead. It makes me sick whenever I think about it." I put the book in my bag.

"So you... despise alphas?" I shake my head.

"I'm an Omega, I could never hate anyone. I just wish that it could go back to the peaceful times I read about. I remember making flower crowns and twirling around the halls, pretending to be the empress. I recognize it as the golden age of the Omegan empire. Hell, I think it was the golden age of the world. But once a golden age ends, that world or kingdom gets erased from existence. I don't hate Alphas, I hate the Alpha prince that betrayed his ancestors." I twirl around the room, placing my feet on the same tiles in the same patterns as I did years ago.

"Well, that's good at least... do you mind if I read some more about it?" I nod with a smile.

"Yep! I kept all of the history books over on that shelf over there. Your can take this one, too." I hand him the book from my bag and smile softly at him.

"Well then, I'll go look around. I'll be back soon."

After an hour of looking around at every room, nothing really catches my eye like that book did, and the two of us notice that the sun is starting to set.

Riding off, we stop at a small cafe in the capital.

"...and then Omegas became so dehydrated that they stop forming slick and- are you listening?" I ask Karma as he continuously stares at me.

"Sorry, I was just thinking how your hair looks like a rat's nest." I puff out my cheeks and take out my hair, smoothing it down.

Before I can tie my hair back up, he snaps the bands. "Keep your hair down, it's prettier that way."

Blushing, I nod. "Sure... but you didn't have to break them... my mom gave them to me." His eyes widen.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" I burst out laughing.

"What kind of mother would give their son two rubber bands?!" He immediately punches my shoulder, and I laugh again.

"Aww... the prince found an Omega, looks like a noble one, too! They're so cute together!"

I hear whispers, and I begin to blush. "Aw Nagi, you getting embarrassed?"

"Shut up!"

Once again, sorry I'm so late in updating. I am trying my best, and I'm trying to finish a whole original story by September to sign up for a writer's scholarship thing my school has. I could probably post it here too since I work on it all the time whenever I can during school. I only have a month, but if I dont make it I'll continue writing it and post it here to maybe do it by next year. Maybe even the Watty's.👀 But anyways, school is tough, tryin to get scholarships, and being alone forever and crying about not having a lover even though I'm bi and I love everyone keeps me away from this story. And I'll finish up the date next chapter, I just wanted to post it since I said I would by this week on my conversations.
