Chapter 7: Beacon's Tragedy

THE NEXT DAY.....

3rd Person P.O.V

After the incident that took place last night, hanzo's death was covered up by jonathan, who said that their team leader "ran away" last night and hasn't come back yet...he told the headmaster the news and ozpin sent a search party to find the boy...while this was happening hanzo's friends where in team JNPR'S dorm room...waiting for the news..

Scarlet: "It will be fine guys...in a couple of moments...he'll walk through that door and tell us he's fine...he has to be! Right?"

Everyone only looked on with hopeless expressions, hanzo's hasn't been here for the entire day...and he went out last night into a grimm infested area with no backup...the likelihood of him returning home safe and sound is very slim.

Pyrrha: "I-i don't think he's coming home guys...y-you saw how broken he was? He's been through hell at this school! I'd run away too if I were in his shoes..."

Aleister: "But why didn't he tell anyone? We're his friends! The only people who give a damn about him! T-this doesn't make any sense!"

Maven: "This isn't like him at all...hanzo would never run away from anything!!"

Ren: "We just need to stay calm...someone should be coming here with the news any minute now..and hopefully hanzo will be alright.."

Aleister: "I hope so...."

And thus the group waited longer...growing more and more concerned as time passed, aleister was pacing back and fourth, scarlet was staring out of the window, ren and nora remained seated..patiently waiting and hoping for the best, pyrrha, jaune, and maven...all sat down as well...then, they heard a knock on the door...aleister went to answer it and saw it was his sister ruby with her usual preppy attitude.

Ruby: "Hey big bro! What's going on? Why does everyone look so sad?"

Aleister's heart ached..he knew how much hanzo meant to ruby, he put a hand on his younger sister's shoulder and lead her into the dorm room and closed the door.

Aleister: "Ruby...something serious happened last night."

Ruby: "S-something like what? Is it Yang? Is she okay?"

Aleister: "It's not about yang...it's hanzo...he...h-he ran away last night...and no one found him yet..."

Ruby's eyes widened, her friend ran away? But why? Hanzo would never do that? Would he?

Ruby: "R-ran away? But why? W-will he be back? Is he okay?"

Maven: "That's what were trying to find out ruby...we've been waiting here for almost three hours...and nothing came up yet..."

Ruby looked away...trying to process this...she began to pray in her head...hoping for her friend's safe return..so she can beat him up herself for scaring her and her friends like this..

*KNOCK!**KNOCK!**KNOCK!**KNOCK!*

They heard the door again, and aleister went to answer it again and saw that it was the Headmaster and Professor Goodwitch with solem looks on their face..aleister read their body language and felt this aura of sadness from both adults...he can tell that the news wasn't going to be good..but he still hoped for the best despite the odds.
