It's currently 8 pm and ever since jahseh left I've been sleep, I'm just now waking up and that's one thing I can't stand because now ima be up all night... I had gotten out of bed and Walked out of my room
As soon as I step foot out I had got this automatic scent... someone must be cooking I said to myself, I had then walked downstairs stepping foot into the kitchen
"Oh hey baby you finally woke up... I'm making dinner only because we having guests", my mom said
"I see... you rarely make dinner usually you would tell me to cook some for myself, but how was your interview?", I asked her
"It was good. I'll be knowing weather if I got hired or not within 24 hours", she answered
"That's great mom", I replied
"Well the guests should be coming in atleast 30 minutes. We have fried chicken, collard greens, macaroni && cheese, and I just finished the corn. For dessert there's a sweet potato pie and chocolate cake, the drinks and stuff are in the fridge.", she explained
"Who are the guests?, Are they that special??", I asked
"Well you know that boy that live on the other side of the street?...He says he knows you very well, I can't seem to remember his name but him and his mother cleopatra will be having dinner with us
I thought to myself fuck she must be talking about jahseh... is this what he meant by he will see if he could visit later? Probably so... everything should go good right? Hopefully .
"Oh okay mom.... where's dad?", I asked
"Oh he should be in the living room", she answered
"Oh okay well I'm bout to head back upstairs to fix my hair", I replied
"Okay baby", she said
