King's Protection

No one's POV:

Ichigo stood in front of his family, Tensa Zangetsu drawn and Ichigo preparing to face the Hollow's pouring from the Garganta in the centre of Karakura town. 'what the hell is happening? why are so many appearing?' Ichigo thought, the reply was immediate and came from the elder of the two sword spirits 'it seems that they are being either drawn or brought here.' Ichigo growled, his thoughts immediately to protect his old hometown. 

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see his father. "Who are you?" He asked. Ichigo's reply was quick, "The one who will protect this town." Ichigo's father's eyes widened, could he be? the thought barely got into his head as the creature before him vanished in a Sonido. 

Isshin looked down at his daughter Karin and asked, "Was that who I think it was?" She simply nodded, saying, "It was Ichi-nii." Isshin looked up towards where he felt the massive pool of energy, it was so big even he could feel it. He knew that was where his now revealed son had gone, to save their town.

Ichigo arrived at the Garganta to see a sight straight from hell. The streets were alight with fire and the people ran in fear of the hundreds of invisible terrors that were hellbent of consuming their souls. Ichigo was quick to move in, killing every Hollow he saw. Not a single Hollow managed to escape his blade.

Ichigo looked up at the Garganta, only to see it widening with every second. Ichigo drew back his blade, charging a Getsuga Tensho to close the rip in reality. As Ichigo neared the release of his Getsuga Tensho, a volley of cero's flew through the Garganta, all trained on Ichigo. Ichigo intercepted the blasts with his blade, the surprise of the attack ruling out the thought that he could take it.

The energy for Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho dissipated into thin air, his concentration interrupted. Ichigo lowered his blade to see seven Gillians leaking from the Garganta. He looked on as the six Gillians took up a position, standing in a circle around the Garganta. Ichigo watched, surprised by their actions and unknowing of the horde of Hollows he had let past.

Ichigo watched the Garganta closely and he saw a figure descending from it. They were wearing a white trench coat that went down to their heels and undone along the chest. Under the trench coat was a white shirt done up with black buttons, their pants were plain white formal wear. They wore black formal shoes that shined from their polisher. 

His hair was black and shaggy and skin as white as Ichigo's. Their face was mostly uncovered, the only part that was covered was the bottom left quarter, stopping at the edge of their mouth. It was covered by a piece of a white mask, the mask had a long black strip going down from their black eye, almost making it look like it was apart of their eye that had been extended. The iris of their eye was a deep purple and seemed to glow with a slight hue. 

Their right eye was the same as the left, only the upper part of their face had the strip going from their eye to their hairline. They wore a pleasant smile, one that spoke of friendliness. Ichigo knew it was fake.

The person landed and looked at Ichigo with lazy eyes, they almost seemed bored. Their formal shoes made a click every time they took a step and eventually they were standing face to face with Ichigo. "Hello, Ichigo Kurosaki." Their voice was warped and wobbly, almost like they still wore their mask.

"Hello..." Ichigo replied. "Wing Ding," They replied to the unanswered question, "Wing Ding Gaster, is my name. I've wanted to meet you for a very long time, Mr Kurosaki." Ichigo looked at him suspiciously, "Why did you want to meet me?" Ichigo questioned. Wing Ding's smile widened, he replied, "Why to dissect you of course."
