Chapter 12

Once I stepped through the portal, it closed at the tip of my tail and I used my vision to look around for Artemis and the girls before seeing them in the center camp of Berk, and I smiled at the knowledge that they were now safer that they could've been anywhere else other than by me and my mistress' side.

My vision returned to normal as soon as I spotted Thalia and Artemis walking around, the other girls were looking around as well, some were in the forest, others were walking around town, but Thalia and Artemis were walking side-by-side through the camp. I opened my wings and shot into the air before leveling out and gliding over to them, and as my shadow passed over them the two looked up and Thalia's eyes gleamed when she saw me. Artemis on the other hand looked glumly unimpressed and I scowled, and then I shot back up into the air and dived back down straight at her, and she just stood there bravely. I grinned when she could see my face and then opened a portal right under her feet.

She let out a yip of freight as she fell through and I went in with her, and then I opened another portal up high into the air and closed both of them as we fell together. Her screaming of unexpected fear and me falling head-first just out of reach, even drifting away as she finally got control of her situation and tried to go towards me to get onto me.

"You, you ungrateful dragon" she growled and I looked at her, we had plenty of time to talk befor the ground even came into view.

You didn't seem happy to see me I pouted and she crossed her arms, letting herself go upside down like I was,

"I wasn't" she scowled "you were trying to show-off...again" she said "it's a completely different thing if your doing it to impress me, but you know I have to be serious around my---our girls"

Oh really, like you weren't smiling a little bit as I gracefully glided over the both of you I said lightly, and she huffed and tried to look away but I just went around to look at her face once more, and after a couple more times of doing this, she finally crumbled and smiled admitting that she was.

"Fine, you win, I was smiling a little, but only in my mind" she said and I looked down to see that the island was now in sight, so I drifted towards her reach and let her climb onto my back. Then I opened another portal and we appeared flying over the forest of berk, the two portals already closed, and we circled the island a couple times before going back to where Thalia stood, watching us every time we came into view and I landed in-front of her. Artemis got off from my back and Thalia hugged her and then me, and I put my snout on her head.

"What are we going to do now Stealth" she asked and I purred, the vibration shaking the ground around us.

You are going to be safe here, and unless that earth is in danger of being destroyed, we will never go back and you girls can either stay here, or go wherever we go I said deal?

Thalia nodded, and I looked at Artemis to see her nod as well and we called the other girls to join us at the center of Berk. And coincidentally they all arrived at the same time Valka and Hiccup came by as well, and all of their bows were out and aimed at him, not her just Hiccup.

"Yay, I'm put in danger by women twice in one day" he said sarcastically and then turned and left, and once her was gone from sight the girls relaxed and looked at Valka in expectancy. I smirked at their protectiveness over me and looked around to see that all of the other villagers had finally started to notice the large group of girls around a giant dragon.

It's okay girls, this here is Hiccup, a friend of mine and once you get to know him, a friend of ours as well I shifted to make the length of my body blocking their aim and they lowered their bows and un-notched their arrows and put them back in their quivers. Now that that's settled I turned my head to look at Hiccup and Valka.
