You wake up to the sounds of voices below you and sigh, curling up tighter in your blankets. Your alarm hasn't gone off yet, it can't be time to get up. You focus on going back to sleep, but the voices are loud and insistent. Are your parents fighting about something?
As you listen, though, you feel your blood run cold. Those aren't your parents' voices. One of them sounds familiar - cold, smooth, deep. They sound just like the voice of a man you met last night.
Your head jerks up and you stare blankly at your surroundings. You're still in the room. Out the iron bars that make up your window you can see a ghast's silhouette floating past a lavafall. You are not home.
Okay, calm down, you tell yourself as you press your hands to your face. It's okay, dreams are long sometimes. It's not real.
"I trust you slept well?" You let out a shriek at the sudden voice, and you look up to see Herobrine standing in front of your (closed) door.
"I- you-" You stammer. Couldn't he at least knock??
"I suppose you are coming to terms with your situation." His face looks almost sympathetic for a moment. "Your permissions are the same as they were yesterday. Do not disobey them or you will be punished." And he was gone.
Mind racing, you drop your head into your hands again. Was this real?? Had you been kidnapped by a God of Minecraft who was forcing you to marry him?? Your stomach rumbles, and you shudder. Feeling hunger is just another sign that this is real.
It couldn't be, you protest, but that little voice in the back of your head is getting louder and louder. Even though this is absolutely impossible, you've been kidnapped by a video game creepypasta and are going to be forced to marry him in two days. There's no way this can be real, but there's no way it can't either. It's just... too real.
You choke back a sob. What about your family? Your friends? What about school, what about your dreams? Will you see any of them ever again?? Will you be doomed to haunt this castle like a mournful phantom for eternity?!
A tear trails down your cheek and you give up, crying into cupped palms. Everyone you ever knew and loved was gone, replaced by cold-hearted undead, and - and whatever Herobrine was. You're not even allowed to leave this castle, much less meet any other players. Were they even real?? What was this place?!
"Y/N." Herobrine's voice startles you once more, and a large hand grips your shoulder. "I understand you are unhappy. But you are safe here. You do not need to worry."
"That's not- it's not that!" You protest through tears. "M-my family, my home, wh-what about them?? I m-miss them!!"
"Regrettably, you are a vital piece of my plan."
"What plan?!"
"All will be made clear in time." The hand leaves your shoulder, but you continue.
"And I- I can't marry you!! I'm a kid! I'm 16, and you're- you're- I don't know how old you are, but it's older than I am!!"
"You do not have much of a choice in the matter. The ceremony will be completed regardless of your approval." A pause. "And I am immortal. I have existed for many, many years. Your age does not matter to me."
"It does matter to me!!" You sputter through tears. "I can't- I won't- oh, I hate you!!"
"You are not the first." The room feels warmer suddenly, and you glance up to find him gone. You sniffle, then bury your face in your pillow. He's too strong, there's no way you could escape. There's nothing you can do now but mourn the passing of your chance at a normal life.

"And do you, Y/N L/N, take this man, Herobrine, to be your lawfully wedded husband?" You blink, then nod numbly. "By the power vested in me, I pronounce the two of you husband and wife." The witch declares, snapping shut the book in his hands. You hear polite applause from behind you, and see your husband moving to face them out of the corner of your eye, but you don't move. You can't think of a single reason you'd want to face this crowd.
Two days have passed since the revelation that this was real, and, as he promised, he has married you. He'd given you a simple white dress to wear for the ceremony, and he was in all black. Apparently that was all he was willing to do to make this day special.
He'd informed you beforehand that you were not required to act the part of his wife except in public. So he did plan to let you leave the manor every now and then, but just to be a pawn. You'd otherwise stay in your room and do nothing, basically.
There was no reception for the wedding, and as soon as it was over he was gone again. He hadn't even kissed you. He was quite possibly the worst husband you could ask for.
Several days pass. You become more familiar with your new home, appropriating some of the empty rooms for your own in a vain attempt to add some sort of enrichment to your life. You even try to befriend some of the Wither skeleton guards, but their speech is rattling and distorted and you can barely understand them.
Your husband is almost never there, the most you see of him is him occasionally conversing with his minions, and whenever you try to question him about your role in his plot he simply ignores you and disappears. He does provide you with clothing, food, water, soap, etc., but apparently he believes that's all that is required to earn his wife's respect.
So, you resign yourself to your fate. You're miserable, lonely, bored out of your mind and homesick, but there's nothing you can do. How can you escape a man who can appear beside you with no warning in a moment's notice?
