Link and I after leaving the kids behind with the Shaman and his daughter once again headed for Death Mountain. This time we got past the first Goron thanks to a pair of metal boots that Link had on him. We soon made it to the council chambers of the Gorons. which had a sumo ring right smack dab in the middle of it. We met the Goron elder Gor Coron. Who told us the situation aperently something in the mines had been causing problems for the Goron's and because of that they cut off all communication with Koriko Village. "Okay what else can you tell us" I asked

"Well nothing much other than what we have already told you, goro. All scouts we've sent in are severly injured that is why we cut off everything to begin with, Goro" Gor said

I frowned at this. "But outsiders are not allowed past and into the sacred grounds of the mine" Gor said

"Okay then how about this a contest of power" I suggested

"What I was going to propose" Gor said

"We win and we'll get to help you and your tribe in the mines. We lose we'll leave the mountain" I said

I looked at Link who nodded his head in agreement.

Now I grew up in a mining town that had a secondary  on agriculture, so I know my way around a mining zone efficeintly enough. "Very well you'll both face me in a match of power. If both of you can win you can pass into the mines. But if either of you lose the loser will have to go down the mountain" Gor said

I nodded mt head in agreement. Link went first against Gor. He won. Then it was my turn to go against Gor. I might not of had Link's iron boots but I did have my skills. Gor came at me and my only thought was, 'Wow Ares's punch had more umph to it than this guys slam does'

I easily won my bout in the ring. Then Gor told us more about what was happening. Turns out their Paitriarch was causing the mountain to act up and was on a rampage through the mines. Link and I shared another look, I was remembering how I made a Volcano erupt on Hawaii two years ago. Yea we both new that this could be very dangerous for me. But this time I would be prepare and not try to bring in water from else where.

After Gor had a blacksmith clean and sharpen our weapons we headed into the mines. After a lot of lava dodging and the like, We came across our first problem. And no it wasn't a lava monster it was Telekines or sea demons. I pulled Link behind a pile of rock. "What are those things?" Link asked

"Telkines or Sea demons. During the first days of the gods they forged may weapons for them Poseidon's Trident, Hylia's scepter and many more not just for my gods but for yours as well. But when it was discovered that they where making a weapon with forbidden magic they where banished into each world's or pantheons hell" I explained

Link's mouth was wide open. I close it with my finger. And durung the Titan war I told you about they remade Kronos's scyth and made Smaug a sword made from his scales and a tooth of his" I continued, "in short these guys are bad news"

"How are we going to get past them?" Link asked in a whisper

"Easy light refraction" I returned

"Why aren't they alerted to you though" Link then suddenly asked

"My guess your scent is covering my scent" I told him, "Let's get past these guys then once we get past that door I'll drop this into the lava" I said taking a piece of volcanic Glass off of my necklace

"What's that going to do?" Link asked

While we where talking I was also talking to the main spirit of the Volcano he want these guys out so once we get past these guys. I'll toss this into the lava as payment. This will heal the spirit of the mountain and he'll get rid of these guys for us as well" I told him
